those in the know will tell you that brad thompson plays croquet, and hopscotch, has never played a contact sport in his life, weighs 45kg dripping wet and wouldn't know the difference between a football and a golf club. someone is yanking his and everyone else's chain. the lad can play golf but wouldn't know what to do if someone kicked a footy in his vicinity. time to get off the topic, he won't be playing football anywhere, ever!

Hows my old mate Shayne Mitchell going down at Encounter Bay? Last time I seen him he he rocked up to training in a high performance car with the ghetto blaster going, signed a contract, then he went home and rang the coach to say he wouldn't play for the club anymore, because he had cow s*** on his car.

Not true.. All have our sponsors have been great, in fact I believe our sponsorship has already doubled that of last year. 2 new major sponsors in Ballast Stone Wines & Fielders Steel on board, but those $$$ figures are off the mark. Even if we had it what could we spend it on? We can only recruit 4 players.

Footy 05, Think you better check your Facts, Port Elliot wasn't thrashed at all in 2000,
we actually won the Elimination Final ad finished 4th for the season, we beet ALL sides
but Langhorne Creek & Willunga, Players that we Paid included Mail Medel R/Up - Ben Wheland, Darren Aris, Danny Okeeth, Adam McFee, Truck McKecknie, Adam Rosser, Kieran McINtyre, Darren Hart, Andrew Vincent. As for my playing career come see me when you have knocked up
220 Senior Games & Played A-Grade Football at Clubs Including United, Hermit Park, Imperials, E/Bay & Port Elliot. Put your hand Up Footy 05 - Whom are U a B-Gade no hoper from Goolwa.

I have highlighted something that i found quite amusing, player payments at Elliot in 2000? How many players were paid in that year, you would hope a side that was thrashed week in, week out wasn't paying too many players, but, i guess you would earn your match payments when you are embarrassed like they were.

Wouldnt worry to much bout the sign man. i hear he is a larger than life ranga, who wore gloves when he played. has little to no idea how to play the game and sounds like he has little to no idea about everything else. we know whitborn didnt get paid, he couldnt afford footy boots.[/quote]

Sorry Cuzzy,
Got to call it as I see it, but last nite was fine, Sorry I didn't mean last weeks comments to be directed at the players (bagging them) - but they were directed at The Club for Not yet Appointing a B-Grade Coach also the A-Grade coach for not being at training.
As for my games (2) THEY ARE ON THE BOARD, Very hard to Crack e/Bays A-Grade back in the 90's with Victor, Us & Goolwa shelling out for Paid players. Most of these clubs were paying approx 12 players or more a year. ie.

E/Bay:- Darren & Cam Mansell, Jim West, Tim Baldwin, Morgan, Martin, Steve Hann, Stolts (B4 he was local), Benny Modra, Shane & Jason Mauran, Ricky Woodroe, Cameron, Rowett etc.

Victor:- Gibbs, Clayton Lamb, Maxy Maynard, Carpenter, Brown, Reids x2, Barry, Duthie, Melican, Symonds, Jim Lihou, Small, Seebone, Walsh, Dennis Russell thats just touching the surface with the ex. Glenelg boys.

Hows the new B-Grade coach going to go ya recon?

Thats a very different approach towards cuzzy and the bays this week signman, seem like you starting to suck up a bit. From what cuzzy seems to think I would not be too sure most of the bay boys really care if your around or what you think.

Shit no..........

Why give the Visitors any luxuries, Extended Home Changerooms, New Umpires Rooms,
New Public toilets at the rear - old one's past there used by date near gates.

I think if anything, they might have made the Visitors smaller & taken out a
visitors shower or too!

Just a quick update on the visitors changerooms at the Goolwa Oval. They are looking fantastic and are nearing completion. there is ample space, 4 showers, new lighting and a high tech waterless urinal (save the Murray), which i am sure will please all players and supporters from opposition clubs. If you are in Goolwa signman I would be happy to meet you at the oval and give you a guided tour. Big thanks to our workmen / sponsors who have completed the new rennos for next to nothing. They will actually be better than the home changerooms. I would suggest you go back 100 pages signman so you know whats going on, because a comment like that makes you look silly and uneducated.

bays new change rooms, offices, trainers rooms and public toilets also well underway, players and sponsors worked throughout the long weekend and everythign is taking shape. Bays play away first round which gives us another week to fine tune and then everything will be ready for the easter SANFL round, think it is South Vs West,
