I think you are spot on there limb.
Carry over points for Jurek and Reeve 3points
Pitman 3 points
Coach Ellis 2points
Joras 3 points, although I am not too sure on his playing history
Dale Ellis 4 points

Total of 15
Allocation 14
Need to play 1 U/17 when all of these are playing.

Reeve training with South and from what I am told will play reserves. Does Mckinlay attract points for Victor?

Isnt the points system top 6 get 11 points?? Victor finished 6th last year.

Reeve supposedly at South but i imagine will be back at Victor. Jurek will drop a point to 2. Kenyon will be 1 if he plays (not sure who he is).

The others are correct if Western Border is a 2 point league.

Some points issues for sure!

From i remember going back about 50 pages to the last time we discussed points, McKinlay doesn't attract points as he came straight out of senior colts, anyone confirm???

A Mum, last year sweet f*ck all happened when Strath breached their points allocation...their red and white guernseys surely helped their cause!!!

You are right BJ, My error
This is straight from the GSFL Inc Player Points System Document
The clubs will be allocated points annually based on the following:-
The bottom four Teams (as listed on the Premiership Table in the preceding year) will be allocated a total of 14 points
All other teams will be allocated a total of 11 points

I have been informed that Dene McKinlay played 10+ senior matches while a colt at McLaren, does this mean that he also attract points at Victor??? Could be a plus for their B grade with a couple of recruits having to play in magoos each week!!!

If Reeves gets a game at South then even the SANFL is struggling for quality! No offence to the bloke personally but he wasn't much chop in the SFL or the GSFL of late.

Cuzzy, you seem to know about Encounter - I was told that you are losing Scott Brown for the better part of the season? Whats going on with your pre-season - rumour has it numbers are dwindling, only 13 on tuesday night... Without your locals pulling their fingers out then BJ has a great point - the quality of football will dwindle.

Its silly to think that the introduction of the points system wont effect the quality of the league! The real question is will the league/clubs be able to manage keeping/getting the quality back in place.....?

Victor should be the biggest improver in the league, Strath will stay steady but there is concern over their pea hearts and Compass may also drop of the pace - I hate to say it but I think the competition between 2nd and 10th will not be as close as predicted..

By the looks of the in's and out's Vision, Victor and Encounter Bay have recruited the most. I wouldn't knock off Compass also; the Creek bro's can apparently play and apart from Scmidt and old timer Hot Dog's, they seem to have held most players and are apparently training the house down with good numbers. Even so, the top sides of Willunga, Langhourne and Strath still seem the strength of the comp and the rest will make up the numbers!

Agree. Maybe 3rd to 10th though. Creeks will be very good again. Strath have defiently lost Tucker who can play, if Richo, Nisbett & co arent playing it will leave a massive hole in there side, all 0 pointers. Compass training 3 nights a week again  friday nights are for drinking & relaxing!

Hmmm dunno where your getting your info from vision, scott brown going away for half the year doubt it, also in regards to numbers we had enough out on tuesday night to have a internal trial in the second half of the session so that would be 32 blokes. If your getting your info from owen and raymond its probably wrong considering they walked off at the start of training. Last night we still had 25 blokes out in the heat and all of them were locals, no adelaide players as the coach and the adelaide players had a meeting in town with two other new recruits, so as far as locals pulling there fingers out i would say it is 10 times better than last year.

Who takes training when the coach is away Cuzzy?

I heard Victor may have gained the services of Darren Hart as assitant coach and also Tim Boyd as a player, anyone know of Tim Boyd?
