Great numbers for a first night out and in the heat!! The love brothers we did hear talk they were shopping around for coin so see what they do. Did the two Goolwa lads train Cuzzy?

Good to hear Cuzzy.

Bassani is at the Swans, the Campbelltown Swans tho haha. Do you think they will move to Sydney to play footy Cuz?

Woulda been tough in that heat last night aswell, im not envious at all that you boys started last night!

i wouldnt be suprised if they do go over to sydney and stay with bass and play footy. To be honest it would be a loss as owen and ray were both good players but they did not want to train and expected everything from the footy club so as much as sad to see them go if their heart is not in the club they are probably not worth chasing.

Yea he is a top bloke, I hope for his own sake his body does hold up. He needs to keep running during pre-season to a minimum.

Nah not at all mate. I know he's working up at Roxby and supposedly was going to play up there if anywhere just due to work.

no problems with him, he seemed pretty good and got most players excited about footy again. He has garunteed that the pre season will be hard but thats what we need.

Hopefully the grass was mowed otherwise the players would have struggled to find him, pretty small bloke, probably would have heard him though.

Cuzzy, sorry bloke didn't mean to get you all fired up. I actually know Mitch and not a bad lad, little out there but should be good for your club. I was just trying to have a light hearted joke, no malice intended.

Mitchell did nothing with Maccelsfield over the past couple of years and guess the spotlight/pressure is on him now. A few Hills Country followers will take an interest in how he goes with Encounter Bay.

Heuskes has signed with a roxby team, confirmed by trent ormond-allen who plays for the dam devils up there and didnt macclesfield only win a handful of games the last few years? lets hope Mitchell doesnt bring that form to the bays!

Im surprised he could even talk at the shutzenfest, Hirst will line up for the magpies this year, at least that is what he told me saturday after his fair share of beer.

On another note, i know its already been talked about Feast lining up for Creeks, but the amount of $ being paid for is limited services is rather large.

LF's mob missed out on Feast he might shed some light on the $$$ figures. I heard mentioned 9 games @ $800-1000 per game as well as taking up 4 points when he plays. Will be good but is that too big a price to pay? I think yes

That is a large sum in this league. I no quality big ruckmen r hard to come by but you could get 3 really gd players for 900. Creeks do have a lot of money tho so spending that much is prob just a bit of pocket money.

I don't know if we MISSED out on Feast, think he has links out that way through is work in producing wine labels but surely those figures are over exagerated?
