Russell Tucker is moving to Whyalla as his girlfriend teaches up there.

M Fenoughty is an in for McLaren and should add some class to their midfield. A Hockey is an out but is no loss really.

G Bailey may be looking at Min/Man as he has a few mates playing up there.

that cant be right emus base payment 8 or 9 years ago was 45 a win youd have to think that inflation and holding the premiership team together away from dollars would have pushed it up. i heard also that port noarlunga about 3 years ago had player payments of 36k for the season before and my source i dont believe would have it incorrect
(asert)

Player payments at MV have never been $45, so a little incorrect there... Our payments are less than that... I received more per game (base payment) for playing in the mid 90's than the present base payment..!!
(The Mexican)
cool. just figured it must have got bigger over time like everything else.
(asert)

Good onya asert. You have shown that you have no idea when it comes to finance and legal matters (see christies Beach thread). Just what are you good at?...oh, that's right, I recall you telling us how good you are at running into elbows and then having a good cry about it. Keep sharing your wisdom with us asert.

I think Strath have lost Chris Sanders and possibly Jayce Richardson which will hurt them a bit.

Well he hasn't missed a training since we started so that would suggest he's staying!

Havent spoken to Timmy Rogers myself but a good mate of mine at Bordertown said Mundulla have given him a very good offer he was considering. Make sense now hes living down that way.
As for Pongys outs BJ you probably know more than me these days. If you know something let us/me know ;)

You know Feno well Brock? Hes a quality player, silky across half back when i played with him at South a couple of years ago, very fit also. Hockey no real loss   that will become a topic of conversation next time u see him!

I've had a few dealings with him in the past.

Hockey knows he is past it, and is putting weight on his head (of all places) due to lack of excercise. 8)

LF to retire from playing all football this year in hope of gaining some valuable time sailing and preparing to skipper a boat in next years Sydney to Hobart. After making his sailing debut Friday night and having the boat he was aboard sitting second and looking and possibly getting into first for it's division they had a minor incident and caused a early end to the race for both them and our boat. I will let LF explain what happened but next time I think you should skipper the boat LF!!!

TW, any substance to the rumours of you switching to the RMFL?
Was speaking to a few blokes on the weekend who generally have their finger well and truly on the pulse, and apparently it is definitely within your considerations.

I did hear something of the sort but we dont need to go down this path. Although I did hear the RMFL could be the home Brad Thompson in 09 will be a very handy 0 point player for them if he does go, no doubt WOW will be able to clear it up for us.

Brad Thompson would not play A grade. Getting a bit old.

TW im a bit perplexed as to why you havent made a decision. Surely you wouldnt leave Goolwa, Simon Dennis back and Zac Ewer coming down must be exciting. Another year in kids like Griffen, Cuthbert and your under 17s it would be a shame to leave as the club seems to be taking a turn for the good!

BJ, I beg to differ regarding Thompson.
On the track he has looked extremely handy, along the lines of a playmaking, impact player. Skills are in top order after a while away from the game. Would make A grade alone on his skills.
