I asked Wade to ring you, said he did and you had cricket training? He wasn't keen, obviously not keen enough to spin me a bullshit yarn!! We ended up forfeiting!!

The old Magpie was a little tired and couldn't be f..d by the sounds of it.. Especially after his Sydney sojourn mixing it with the snobs on Sydney Harbour!!

yeah, got a run in the two's. Seems like this is one of the best years for PL cricketers making themselves available. Wonder if Arnie & Spielberg will be playing for the maroons?

wcp, Scoob is a liar and is avoiding the firing line, he informed me this morning he was home sipping wine and nibbling flake in his PJ's and slippers, typical tasman footballer, think he even supports Norwood.
seems since he has won the glasses he has retired on a high from the mighty legends.
will be back next week with my bowls i recieved for christmas, Look out fussy and D.Stacey im gonna roll ya.
Haje, breath in and out, in and out, woosaa, woosaa. i support you fully though lester, only chasing 49 i would of ripped the leather off and used the cork against the whingers.

Well Scoob I reckon if we knew it would have caused this much of a fuss we would of used a new ball. Can't believe the attention this is getting, it's not as if any of our bowlers can put a new nut to good use anyway! I opened the bowling and it didn't worry me that I was using a ball that we had used before. However, I will now state that on behalf of the toddies, WE WILL NEVER USE AN OLD BALL AGAIN!

Everyone makes mistakes... and should be forgiven...
You would have thought a couple of the experienced cricketers out that way might have shown a bit more common sense tho....
Lmagpie is there anyone you like? bagged PLCA, LS Bgrade for changing ball and now Charlton.
ak ... couple of quick ones....... is that schoooeys at the Wheaty?

humble apologies hs, I thought after EU's dismal finals effort last year that you had dropped the 'happy'moniker.

Can't believe the fuss about the TR new/old ball issue. Shit bowling is shit bowling no matter what the ball. You just notice it more with a new pill

Heard a rumor that there will be a concerted fundraising push to cover a very large 'black hole' at a certain multi purpose development. Who cares if it doesn't have a roof I say!!!!

Happy Demon, we all know that they havent got enough money to put on a roof at the new complex.... all shoes sold at Lincoln Shoex the owner will donate $10 to the roof, might just have to put shade cloth over the top for now!!!! The GM reckons 'Least you can smoke in there if theres no roof '

AR 6 #1 has firmed from $3.30 to $2.30 on IASBet.
also grub...the WFC have jumped on board Wally's Wagon and agreed to play home games at Ravendale next year...can't say what the inducement was that 'sealed' the deal, but ash felt that it was good for all parties.

btb- can't believe we have to travel all the way to Ravendale for our home games this year. There must have been some big offers involved for us to contemplate changing our home ground arrangements from last year. I hope the committee knows what they are doing.

That's the Wangary Cricket Club 88/89 Premiership side. The good old days when I was growing up out at the Gary!! Reckon that side may have won it's share of flags in PLCA as well. I'm sure you'll appreciate it Scoob!! Note the cars parked round to the goals, always a great crowd at the Southern Eyre CA Grandy back then.

We shouldnt have to share Ravendale with anyone. It will end up having to much traffic, why dont Waybacks go to Stamford Oval
