The top 4 clubs in the RMFL last year would have been up there in standard with Strath and L Creek.

Both Ewer and T Rigney are quality players, most people who have played SANFL footy are. IF they both sign to play for a GSFL club, they'll both do very well.

Josh 'winnie' Wingrove to leave Strath and join old team mate Dwayne Ludwig at Kangarilla in 09, heard he didn't like Simmo's hot head and communication methods. Both these guys are good local 0 point players that Strath would have liked to hold onto.

When was the last time the Magpies wore the jail bar jumper LF? If you get the lace ups out maybe Daniel Loots will come play at Goolwa, he still wears his green & gold lace up to bed so I am told!

How much is on offer then???

i think you will find that majority of the clubs that have approached Trigger and Ewer were all offering the same amount (or very close). Change is on the agenda for these two, im not saying they are leaving Jervois but you would have to be a fool not to consider the amount they would be offered.
A mail medalist and a proven goal kicker?
What is reasonable for these 2?

A mail medalist and proven goal kicker only problem is in a very average standard league.

Standard league? You've had a bit to do with the 2 leagues then? These 2 guys can play, they would be in the top 5 players at any country club, possibly not Willunga.

Would've been 93 I think Teamwork. The Maggies changed jumpers in Sean Jacksons 1st year at the helm which I believe was 94, I think??

The question is will the Maggies want D. Loots ;)

And yes, he does still wear his green & gold lace up everywhere. But only because it's too tight for him to remove :)

Lootsy would be a good acquisition to the Magpies midfield.
Teamed with the likes of Zac Ewer & Shane Fox in the guts, they would field a formidable, tough midfield that could give the forward line amply supply (albeit not the same quality delivery that the Willunga forwards receive from their silky midfield) But with Rigney down there they might just give a few sides a shake-up.

Also heard a description of the plans for the new visitors rooms at Goolwa, not going to be a 5 star resort but alot more room and 50x better than what has previously been provided.

I did hear that Langhornes had landed Ciaran Buckley and 3 of his mates from down the South East but the points system has blocked them all being able to play so they have all headed for a Div 2 Amateur club. Disappointing for them if true.

Care to name the players Mex? Rigney and Ewer maybe? Just throwing that one out there as they may have gotten wind of these boys lookin for a move and joined in the bidding war!

If they already had points problems a few recruits might find themselves playing 2's so they can fit in Moore and Sherwood...

I did also hear this about Buckley and his mates, points system really hurt Creek with this one.

Ciaran or his brother, as Ciaran wouldn't be worth any points would he?

Creeks (now that they 'know' the league president) will lead the charge with Bays, Yank, Goolwa and Myponga + others to get some adjustments to the system for 2010 beacuse I would be certain in saying that they are not the only club to miss a package of 4 or 5 players to date.

Just on the points system, Matt Doyle played 2 years with us at the Saints (total 19 A Grade games + 9 B's), then went back to his original club within the GSFL. Say for example he did play for Goolwa again, how many points is he worth? 0 or 3?
