I think if Victor max out on points this year, one thing they may do is have Ellis coach from the boundary (ie non playing coach) that would save them 2 points or however many he's worth.

Chances are Saints wont see a return to football from Max McCardle he may have just got the break he was looking for with kick starting his golf pro tour card goals. He has qualified for this weeks Australian Open, get on him at the TAB he is paying a nice $1501 for the win!! Good luck Maxy, go get them tiger!!

Bays are searching high and low for a ruckman in 2009. How come Baylis didn't come back or is it still possible? Cuzzy you may know, he did win a B&F.

What was wrong with Jervois? Went to a successful side to win a flag, missed out so why not go again to right the ship or return to the Bays?

Brad has the quality and would be a great character on a pro tour but has had a lot of time off the course over the years, he tells us the reason he is not still up with the top guys is it's a "funds" issue. Surely the great people of Willunga can offer some sponsorship to get him back in the academy.

Not wrong there, has more raw talent than Max McCardle, some of the things i've seen him do with a golf ball were unbelievable. The touch of a surgeon around the greens, just had a tendency to get the yips off the tee under pressure. Was working on it last year at the academy, but i heard the same sad news that he couldn't find enough funds to continue there this year & has gone backwards without the support team around him.

Is a handy footy player however if does decide to hang up the sticks, and i did hear that someone from the Mudlarks had been in talks with him. Anyone confirm? Would be a quality pick-up & i don't believe he would cost any points being out of the game for so long?

I had a hit with Leigh Hirst sat he still shows that he has the golf skills in the bag. Both him and Brad great Jnr's just never took a serious path in the teenage days that seen too many different women and sleepless stranded weekends.

yeah bayliss did in 2007. Bays have signed a ruckman already which will be great to give blummy and philpy a rest. I think even if the bays hadnt, given philpys year last year we wouldnt be to worried, didnt see many games when he was beat in the ruck and when he rucked in the association game he jumped all over bayliss.

philpy stamped himself in the league last year and i think you will find that is why he has had so many clubs from hills chasing his services, glad to hear he is stayin on at the bay though. Bays have meet the coach day this sunday so will reveal new players names on monday.

Bahahaha... that's a good one Cuzzy. I think you'll find he rucked about 10 minutes at the start of the game and after RMFL went up by 4 goals they threw Blummy in there and Philppy went to the backlines for the rest of the game. So i'd have to say you are stretching the truth a little there!
