Just like the 80k that was given to Hackham last year?? If you beleive that garbage you are a peanut. Im sure if big money was poured into a club by an individual it would be kept dead silent and only a few would know about it......

Just stating what I got told LK. Visitor changeroom upgrade would be good, their only used 9 weeks of the year though, so many ways to spend that type of coin (hypothetically), I just hope you guys don't end up down the same path as before when mansell was coach......

What playing finals? (and blooding youngsters like Trav Griffen, McCardle, McGuinness, L. Hirst, D.Bridges, Bilney, B. McKinlay)

Absolutely, thats why we play, I'm not having a go LF, far from it, I admire what popey and the club have done for the past 3-4 years with their young guys, it's about setting up the future and I hope these guys stay on board long term. Goowla have had reasonable success with their junior grades over the past couple of years and if these kids step up, with sensible recruiting I'm sure Goolwa will be back in the top half

Tigerland the Roos will be competitive. Sam Joraslafsky and Wayne Pitman have definitely signed, that sures them up with a good CHF and CHB. Take out Brad Hunter, if they retain Hodge and add in Ellis they will rise up the ladder i would think.

Willunga have nothing in the bag until the GF siren goes and we've made it and won it. Plenty of work to be done before then and i can guarantee you that we will be as motivated as ever next year! Obviously the goal is to win but thats the same for everyone so as much as you think its done, its far from it!!!

Your right I dont know much about footy, didnt play the game much either but between Sam J & Ewer, both are premiership players, played league footy, won a mail medal. Hardly over rated. I do know that Hodge, Ewer, Sam J & Ellis (if they sign) would give them a midfield to match Willunga, they just need a couple of tank arse forwards to kick it to, like Willunga.

So with one Joraslofsky signing with Victor, i wonder if that will mean the other (Matt) will sign with them as well??

I think i also read Jurek has gone back to the Saints, so with him leaving plus Hunter (anyone know where he's playing next season), as well as Saunders not being available at all due to injury, then Victor may be in front, but they look to have lost a bit of quality as well.

Whats the background on Pitman, he's a midfielder presumably? Age?

Jurek is not back at the saints yet, still attending Victors non compusory training sessions. Would be a very handy 0 point players if Goolwa are able to lure him back.
Goolwa to have the vote on what they will be known as in the future this weekend, will it get past to go back to the black and white?

Did Hunter even pay a game for Victor? Is he not with South again this year?

Pitto is a key forward, maybe 6'1 and must be 24 or 25 now. A few recent injuries probably means he hasnt got the mobility for CHF anymore, but as a FF he's strong as an ox and has the biggest hands ive ever seen! Should kick a lot of goals in 09 if he can stay fit. However those big hands of his are prone to clenching in to BIG FISTS... so lucky he will have his brother in law (Sam J) down there as well to keep him in check.

From my source ive been told Victor are happy with their midfield stocks and didnt want Ewer due to the points system. They wanted big guys, and went with Sam J and Pitman. An interesting call but probably something Victor need is some height and some talls to straighten them up. A tick for Ellis in my book first up even tho Zac is a quality footballer!

I thought the four lads were part of a package, maybe Ewer and Rigney are still available for Goolwa?

They indeed are! Rigney is supposedly staying at Jervois but may move to Goolwa. Doesnt really solve Goolwas problems tho but certainly helps out if both go thats 2 very very good players!!!
