I think there has been enough talk about Shane 'strauchnie' Fox to see us through the 2009 season. I know one thing is for sure, he won't make a decision until very close to season start, it's hard to with so many clubs chasing his talent, so to avoid arthritis in your fingers, stop typing bollocks. Quiet time now sssh :-$

Has anyone spoken to Brad Thompson? A bit of talk a few weeks back but yet to hear if he has signed. Has showed signs of ability but always had golf as his main focus now with golf on the back burner he is looking for a new home, played a bit at south then gave the game up. Would be handy in the GSFL and maybe lure one or two others with him I ran into him in the gym last week I didn't get a chance to speak to him as he was working hard with a trainer looking pretty fit too. Not sure what his points value would be?

no need to make a decision now, most teams don't begin training seriously until january. shane has plenty of time to work out where he is best suited. zero point player too so will be much sought after i'd assume.

i should sue you two for defamation. i was about to sign for $350 a game tonight, but that doesn't seem likely if they catch wind of this conversation.

Save your money wang, some clubs only charge a one-of fee for the whole year!

Come on lads surley he deserves more than your giving him, great value around the club and if you get him you could also get the likes of Marshal and Mccardle. Maybe the sharks can start the bidding?

BJ you have seen him play more than me whats your honest opinion? I have seen him play a few games, the most recent being out at Cally in poor conditions with not alot of support and he showed he has the goods. Played a mid field role, ran all day, was willing to get his own ball and disposal was first rate the only thing to be questioned was if he followed the coaches instructions or went by his own game plan.

BJ would have trouble remembering what he had for breakfast.
Surely those younger hazy, shady years at THE SHARKS have taken its toll on his memory.

Enough talk on him then, will be a good character around the club and has skill but might take time to find his feet. Will he be part of Willunga in 09 BJ?

Promising young prodigy Luke Harding is rumoured to have kicked off his pre-season prematurely.
His thundering hooves have been heard circling the Willunga township in the past few weeks and is said to have been spotted in tip-top shape for an assault on the '09 season.
Great to see him on the comeback trail, a devastating player when on song.

Just returned from Pluto and realised we're talking about Brad "Aggie" Thompson and Shane "Straunie" Fox?? Did something happen to the other 1000 senior footballers in the Great Southern region?
