When will these guys grow up? Don't they have anything better to do than fight, wouldn't be suprised if someone is killed in Victor this summer from a fight around the Crown/Victor Hotels. I'm guessing you all heard what happened in the city yesterday, a normal fight happened and was broken up, then one retaliated with a knife and killed a kid and then he too was stabbed and nearly died. Crazy stuff and the fights in Victor are getting pretty serious.

Good call Damian, the old Victor street fights are ridiculous now days. I thought if you wanted to puff your chest out you could at least do it sober or in a proper way not play the 16 year old games at 25. I for one hope it doesn't result in someone getting seriously injured, but that's just me....think i'm getting old.

Mr fox, you may well be old :D but i definately am not and think exactly the same. It's these group fights that are the most dangerous, 20 against 1 just doesn't roll in my book.

Yeah exactly, not much of an indication of how tough you are when its 5 on 1.

unless your'e the SHRIVE.

How many hackers are going to dig up the McCraken golf course on sunday BJ? Should be a good day for all involved and well deserved! :partyman: Do you have many in the club that can hit a good ball?

Ur right there with Hackers, if theres something the Demons cant do its golf. Magoo should have made Compass' job this weekend to shovel a 2 tonnes of sand into a trailer, then followed us around the course sunday filling our divots in

Couple of guys can hit a good ball. Most notably would be Havid Dams who plays off around 5, not bad for a 5 month a year golfer! Moose Langford is another story altogether, ive seen the man take 19 shots to get off the tee. The rest of us anywhere in between that. Will be a top day and the boys have a bus to and from Victor so there could be a few slow Mondays for the boys! :partyman: :drinkers:

Very interesting quote.......... because I know they were not linked to GSFL clubs anyway and they definaltly were not signed, sealed and delivered at the Blood and Tars either......

They had been approached actually by at least two GSFL clubs that I know of, so it is good to hear they signed on again at Jervois. May mean though that one very very good GSFL player may be leaving his club to play with them....

I think it said 'good' player, plus I cant afford to pay a club to take me.

LF is a big driving force at Goolwa you cant take him, offer him a coaching possie and he might look but!
If Hodge was to leave Victor I would be guessing Levy would sack him too so he will be looking for a job also!

dont have a problem with them mate, very entertaining and great to have around a footy club. I think unfortunatly they just dont have good tempers and you no what its like these days instead of a bit and push and shove its punch and kick or if your in the city (stab and shoot). To there credit at least they aint putting up with any S%$T.

On a better note, bays start pre season 2nd week of jan offically, with about 10 players running each sat at present should be a good pre season. Club room renovations started yesterday with the developments to continue into jan /feb and hopefully be completed by early March.
