Will they want them back TW after Ray's burst out sat night at the crown alot of people were running for cover and will want nothing to do with the Bays while things like that are going on!!

ray and owen both signed on for next year, think you will find sat night happened for a reason but the new coach will soon sort both these boys out. From what i have heard he doesnt put up with any s***t and is a bit of a hard nut, just what these boys need.

I will remain quiet but some big signings to report on here, wont say anything yet but meetings have taken place just need signatures which i believe are happening this weekend, will keep you posted but there will be a couple of GSFL clubs devestated.

In what regard Cuzzy? Losing players to E Bay or because they are chasing the same players and will lose the race to get their signature?

Cuzzy, poaching players from other clubs again? How much will you be paying Dycer and Fergusson?

ill leave it for you guys to decide when these players sign. It will be funny and i will have great pleasure in revealing all but want to wait until we acctually get the signature unlike last year when bass got on here naming blokes and they never signed.

My Tip is Bays to open up the cheque book and pay Hodge the big $$$ and take him from Victor.

When you say sort them out Cuzzy do you think if he walks in and throws his weight around and tries to come down too hard on a few of these lads they may walk away?? Look at Love's final's walk off and Bas is a good friend to him.

think you will find mate that this is the reason why bass was on the out, couldnt control these type of players. This may also be the reason why the club only signed the love brothers for 1 year. To owens credit he has accepted what he did was wrong and spoken to all players involved, ray well as you know he spits it but that just makes him harder (eg crown sat night)

They were two players you chased last year weren't they? Ex bay players, handy under the points system.

Good to have you back and firing Cuzzy

After a couple of quiet days on the forum with a new Coach the bAY BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN

This point system does encourage clubs to bring back old players

HOW OLD IS THE BIG QUESTION???????????????

Bring back Rady, hercock, Swainy, Roy Webb

Points are one thing....players that can play the other

Time to stop talking rubbish and make an announcement.

**News Flash**

Leigh Pope has resigned as coach of the Saints as of now. Disappointing because I think that we believe (the inner sanctum) that we are starting to get on top of things and were about to make some in roads. Although the results may not have shown to those outside the playing group, Popey had built a core group of players, we halved our average losing margin and were definately more competetitive. On top of this I also beleive that Pope was about to announce a very nice little signing of 4 players, who are well known to posters on this forum. That may now be on the back burner. The positive is that popey will remain involved with the club because his sons play (might have a new junior colts runner!!!).

The reason for his resignation is not really for me to say, but by mid November it should be quite clear why he decided to make the announcement now. Hopefully a new coach will be announced soon.

Disappointing news for Pope! The Saints were more competitive this season and with another 4 players to compliment the existing group (which had a lot of young kids) you would hope the Saints would improve. Will the current recruits stick around LF? Wilsons and co? What happened to Fennell and Russell this year? I think Russell played a bit.

Reason doesnt sound good, is it personal or a decision based on footy and the committee etc?

I think that the current list will remain relatively in tact (Russell was RU B&F, Fennel did his achillies), which is good. The reason had a lot to do with not having time with his family, but the underlying factor will soon be known. It is not a big issue, there is no bad blood or anything like that. Remember that we have alsways stated that Popey would always stand down if a 'better' candidate came along.

Let the guessing games begin. There will definately be a new president but that has no bearing. It hasn't even been decided, but the favoured candiadate would have supported Popey.

Best of luck LF. Hopefully it all sorts itself out and u boys make some steps forward next year. Rome wasnt built in a day but you guys are attacking this points system pretty well and need to continue to retain and then add to your side without pushing out A grade quality youngsters that you have in the likes of Cuthbert, Griffen and co.

Although we are still in October and should be more worried about Beer festivals! :drinkers: The things I have heard about the Saints (Could be Magpies soon) are a big step in the right direction, with the right people and handling of situations things should continue to improve and grow. Very early for talk but if once its all made offical it will be a rather large talking point I imagine.
