Tasman's never really looked like getting the runs...everyone just made 10's and 20's....all out for 154

Yeah Biggles, well bowled by the Panther, bit of a steaky shot to hit the runs though, thick edge over slips for 2 runs, (doesn't say that in the score book though!!). Well done to Jim Stocky good to see some honesty out there.

I know whoever does the centenary wiket has been getting annoyed at everyone bagging him......but seriously, when it started raining on friday why wouldn't you go put the covers down? our game got transferred to poole, which was prob an advantage for souths as we had 4 bowlers out of the team, and would've stuggled at centenary

WT ... got no sympathy for him if he isn't doing his job properly. The league pays him good money and the machinery there seems to be ok, so I can't see any reason why we can't have a decent deck every week.

2 fours in the 11no grub, not singles mate

Goo still buzzing from oceans night before, telling parker he was going to smash him round, and he succeeded then got bowled....Goo fined by tasmans for texting matt smith at 3 am to tell him he couldnt play cus he was sick, then he got fined again for the 4am text to matt smith saying he felt better now and will play...true story

Your right there AG, the curator gets SFA and puts a shit load more work into it than the council ever did. I reckon whichever team is first named at Centenary should be responsible for the covers, obviously there's no mats to do there and the curator does enough hours down there without trying lay covers out by himself.

What a farce our cricket tribunal is. SES's protest that Souths's changed a wet ball was dismissed. WAD, you were sitting on the tribunal last night, how piss weak are you lot!! It's a basic law of cricket that the ball can not under any circumstances be changed unless out of shape. Apparently our tribunal reached a decision the ball wasn't changed to benefit Souths. Why the **** did they change it then?????? This tribunal is supposed to right any wrongs in the game and reach the correct decision, which didn't happen last night, hence we are appealing. We won't need another tribunal consisting of a group of players who obviously didn't bother to open up the rule book. We'll do that ourselves, invoke the laws of the game and see that Souths learn a lesson in who they appoint as captain and whether or not he knows anything about the game. The fact he took a hatrick after changing the ball doesn't sit well with the boys that played in our B's Saturday either.

Dry ball also comes out of the hand a lot better to. The fact our tribunal allows them to disregard basic laws of the game is a laughing stock, what were you thinking WAD?

You are fired up this morning Panther... I agree with you about some things, but a ball can be changed with the agreeance of both captains or if there is an officiating umpire. The fact that the LS captain changed without consulting the SES skipper is a blatant breach of the rules.. But like most things in this Association, if its going to cause a stir the hierachy like to take the moral ground and act like pussycats...
But I suppose it is only B Grade in Port Lincoln but it could open up a Pandora's box.

WCP, will you be appealing to the High Court??

It's the Pandora's box that is the worry, where does it end!! The tribunal also indicated the SES skip didn't give a clear indication as to whether or not he agreed to the ball being changed. He wasn't given a chance, he went over to enquire what Locky was doing, he said the balls too wet, grabbed another and ran back out. Your right about them being pussycats though, unless of course you miss a meeting or your scorecard is in late, then they whip the fines out quicker than grub on his way to Oceans at 1.50am!!
