Why the mass exodus of coaches leaving the clubs???

I think you’ll find that Wallaroo, Kadina and Moonta will retain their coaches for 2023 - their constitutions stipulate that positions are required to be advertised each year

Not sure about Moonta, pretty sure Abela has finished up and Nelson is Coaching Centrals Reserves in the SANFL.

See CMS have already appointed their new coach. Matt Creeper.

Mumford has left the Eagles, headed to Angle Vale.

Pridham stepped down after flag to concentrate on business
Abela having a break from footy
Nelson allegedly sacked by the players in an us or him demand to the board

Poulton and Redden x 2 locked in for the Southern Eagles!

Any other early recruits on the horizon?

Both Wallaroo and Bute still trying to get coaches.
Can’t see either team improving with no coaches or any quality outside players.

Early ladder prediction
Moonta (super heavyweights and in a class of their own)
STH Eagles
Kadina
CMS Crows
Maitland
Pasky
Ardrossan
Wallaroo
Bute

Rumour has it Wallaroo may have secured a coach from up Tailem Bend way.

Think so
Things didn’t work at Balaklava for him either

Had a few things going on in his life back then that led to some less than ideal choices. Can only speak from my experiences but I found him engaging and a great mentor in the short time he was at Balaklava.

Disappointed things went the way they did but if those difficult times have passed I have no doubt he'd be a terrific coach.
