Any idea who they played LMc? The opposition were wearing predominantly red, with black and what looked like spider web. If I had to guess, based on their standard, I would say they were at least Div 6 or 7.
I got their at 1 pm and watched ~20 minutes. During that time AV kicked 2-3 goals and the opposition didn't score. I didn't get a real lot out of it, but noticed a couple of standouts for AV. In particular, number 14 was small/mid sized left footer, onballer/HBFlanker that moved well and looked very handy - he stood out above all else. They were calling him "Izzy" - it may well be that Isiah Glancey listed on sportingpulse clearance page. They also had a very small, lightly built young indigenous lad who was lightening quick off HB. He had good skills, was electric and rotated with #14 on ball. They also have a few at the opposite end of the spectrum which most would expect given that it was the first week of March. Nonetheless, they were having a fair crack and were ultra competitive with their tacking and pressure.
