We have possibly 5+ that dont either dont deserve an a grade game at the moment or are playing injured, the problem is we dont have the depth in our 17's or b grade to elevate players. Only b graders that i can see play A's are 1) Sam north, 2) Jason Huges and 3) Beau Jenkins and thats about it. We need to pesist with our new players, no point bringing people like tom edmonds, troy hull etc in because they arnt the future of our club. People like moving pictures, alex north, Whyat tiller etc need alot of support and need to find their role within the team to secure their spots.

agree with you on wyatt.

he's more likely to become an a grade ruckman than basco.

Did I read right in the Times - Bostons best players = All played well. I love the sense of humour

A few comments on the posts late yesterday :
UA - still talking crap. To say that B had LS on toast is laughable - When you start saying something sensible people on here might treat you with a bit of respect cos at the moment you have none and are a laughing stock, not to mention the disdain your own Club would have for you. Suggest we all just ignore him, which has probably been said before

Daicos - similar story to UA. started off alright but has gradually dug himself a hole which is getting deeper. To say that Jericho and MJ for that matter are on their last legs is stupid. Any Club would have them in their side right now. Jericho still the best CHB in the league IMO.

Pecker Power - obviously not a Mallee Park boy

Marble Park - Agree about Beau. Who is moving pictures?

Boston Prodigy and Zoo Poo - sensible posts as are Marble Parks.

I'll sit back now and wait for the replies

According to Tasmans MJ is 28 pound for pound is still one of the best going around.
I would sign Jericho to a 4 year contract right now.
If Bostons are lacking depth then they will have to pick sides on form not age if Edmonds and co.
are good enough play them occasionaly and blood the young guys slowly.
Steiger are you still on your medication?

we had them right where we wanted them at half time steiger. we were within a couple of goals and playing alright but what we dished up after that was not acceptable. I would make plenty of changes
1. Basco, Wyatt and moving pictures to the b grade for starters. That will get rid of 30 turnovers a game.
2. Do not play injured players (Hull, Kotz, Lenny)
3. Bring in B Jenkins, T Hull and T Edmonds

Bit of a Marble Park philosophy lesson now...

Someone like Watho is an all-round A Grader. Every area of his game is an A Grade standard...
There aren't many players who fill "every aspect" at an A Grade level, but to be in the League side, you certainly need to bring something to the party.
Shambles has A Grade dedication on the field, even if his skills aren't purely A Grade, Kotzy has that never-say-die attitude that you need, moving pictures has nothing at an A grade level.

I can think of four or five reserves players, who no-one would think of as an A Grader, that would have a greater output than someone like moving pictures.

Agree with your call on injured players too.

Can someone shed some light on who this moving pictures player is?
Its not PT is it?

Anyway Steiger and KWF, Jericho is over-rated. Have a look around the competition and try to find a CHF that is of genuine A grade quality. Its a position of no importance it seems. We are working really hard this year to use Cima at CHF, I really think he'll kick Jerichos arse. Too much pace and flair, The service Cima has been getting from the midfield/halfbacks will make it hard for any centre half back, let alone an old slow one who just uses brute force.

All played well............WTF .... I would hate to see the scoreline if they all played bad! ;)

Who is Matthews that plays for Bostons/Souths in the write-up? (could be Alf or Strop?)

acock I think you know nothing about football - Jericho is one of the best. To say you dont rate a the position of centrehalf back and especially Jericho is a joke. He is a gun.

Cima vs Jericho will be a good tustle. Magic has probably shown that he is no slouch at CHB but obviously
hasnt collected as many scalps as yet. who holds down CHF for Souths?

Tips...

Topic of the day (Cima/Jerishow) could well decide the outcome... But I'm tipping Tasmans 1-39.
I've seen both sides so far, and Tassies are more impressive to me.

Waybacks good win over Rangers, but Mallee's will be too good, looking to atone from the Tasman loss. only worry for me is the margin, and I'm gonna play safe with 1-39.

Marble Range v Bostons. Very simple. Marble Range. 40+. Hurts me to say it, but I'm over confident of 2 points for my tipping.

REMINDER: All tipping monies to be paid by friday arvo.

I'll clarify my thoughts! For all you tards. Jericho is relatively old and slow but has obvious talent imo, In the Port Lincoln Football league no team has a dominant/gun centre half forward(except maybe us with Cima) , so from my observations Jericho hasn't had any real quality opposition in a few years now, with the exception of mortlock. This week with probable excellent delivery to a faster moving CHF, i think Jericho will struggle. Now do you get where i'm coming from?

Parker is the only forward that needs shutting down. The rest are just making up the numbers. I agree with the 40+ marble p
