I dont reckon you would send a letter for a "half interested" player - these letters tend to cause some angst at opposition clubs.... you wouldn't be doing that without a better than "half interested" player.

alright lets say it was me who was the player and let's assume I am a reasonably good A grader and I do not want to play for money (which was in fact true by the way) and I play for MR and TRR (who has no official club capacity) asks me do I want to play at WFC. There is no money, no contract
Oh I give up this is too hard and Iv'e got work to do
Can't remember was there many posts today from TFC supporters ;) (sorry lads that was the last little dig. Love your club and many many members in it)

Go MR, W and B

I havent heard anyone from TFC squealing about the fine.
But following Steigers lead I agree with having a drink after the game what happens
on the park stays out there. I would like to see the Presidents of each club
invite the opposing committee for a drink. It would break down a lot of this B!@#$T
and alleviate any misunderstandings

coyote ugly wrote:What really happened was Semmler sent a letter to the PLFL in regards to the transfer of M Parker.

Parker agreed to return to the MRFC origionaly but when it was confirmed that Semmler was coaching the TFC it became evident that Parker had second thoughts about returning to the MRFC. After a meeting between Parker and Semmler they wrote a letter to the PLFL to see if there was anything they could do about the clearance not going through and Parker remaining at the TFC. The letter from Semmler to the PLFL was on a TFC letterhead and was signed, and this is where the problem arose that Semmler was under contract with the MRFC until Dec 31 ....yet.... he had been appointed TFC coach in the press and was sending letters with a TFC letterhead when all we knew he was still a MRFC player. After investigating it was determined the MRFC had received no correspondance from the TFC in regards to Semmler.
We found the TFC guilty and fined them $750 with NO loss of premiership points.
Let this be a warning to you all

that is the biggest load of crap i have ever heard...there was no letter ,no meeting and no second thoughts!!!

So who has got the right story ? CU or MP
For what its worth I think the current system needs to be carefully looked at.

i think marble range have short memories.Maybe im wrong but im fairly shore they got in trouble a few years ago for approaching Daniel foster in the school yard.Maybe its do as i say not as i do.If the paper work was not lodged to the leagues rules tasmans have to be man enough to wear it.While i dont agree with the amount[given our lack of financial position]i hope the league have set a standard for all clubs to follow, because i think all issues regarding transfers will be closely looked at in the future.

The difference between Marble Park and Coyote Ugly is this:

Fact: Marble Park works at the League.
Fact: Everyone knows who Marble Park is.
Unconfirmed: Coyote Ugly's identity.
Unconfirmed: The fact that CU works for/worked for, the League.
Fact: When I'm wrong, I admit it.

I believe that should be enough.

Other Leagues: Fairly sure the new regulations (through Community Football) would mean that everyone has the same rules.

Hey Sonya, you didnt try and pick up Daniel in the school yard ?
I have talked to a couple of Roosters today they are adamant that they werent trying
to be underhanded but merely made a mistake late last year.
Good luck to everyone see you at the footy for a beer!!

I'm heading out to Poole oval after work.

I'll post my thoughts, but I reckon someone'll get scores up before me.

And... after seeing the team sheet, Bostons B Grade: 40+

We got flogged and wont win a game this year after seeing that. I have never been so embarressed in all my life to get beaten like that by a buch of panzies. A real dark day for our club and all the forward steps we have taken in the last few years has been great but we took one step back today. thank god for the b grade at least they put in.
BP I will be interested on your thoughts on the game. Why did Jacko play CHF? Our onballers were soft and were intimidated.

the score was roughly Tasmans:140 to Bostons:60

Today was very embarrasing for our league players and coachers. To tasmans credit they are a very hard at it team and link up very well coming out of defence. we dont have a CHF and jacko gives good pressure and keeps the ball in the area. However after half time we kept them within a 3-5 goals so if theirs any positives to come out of today it was that and our new players such as Wal, Hammer and young tabey playing solid 4 quaters of competative footy.

Any wrap ups of souths win over waybacks?

Not a great day for Bostons, despite the win in the two's.

Lost Morris and Beau in that game, and Kaden will miss a few with a hammy in the second quarter.

Can't think of too many more players to come back into either senior grade, maybe Sam North and Shambles being the only two who could push for A Grade.

Ruck was an issue, and unless Shambles comes back, their isn't a lot of help for Basco. Wyatt struggled, and in the two's only Tyson Bray impressed.

Congrats to the Tiger U17 lads who recorded their first win in a couple of seasons, thanks to a very handy junior, one W. Roderick :o

souths and waybacks was a cracker . had everything skill hard knocks and pace . big hit on young treagus resulted into an ambulance and off to hospital . couple of weeks holiday i reckon for the wayback player who was beaten all day by jay and treags obviously was frustrated . souths by 21pts . was a great anzac clash which would make collingwood and essendon b grade . good luck to treags and his family . bring on bostons !!!
