Hey Steiger the boys were good last week should be a top game this week. I wonder how
much heat is still left from the GF.
Mate it might be a similar temperature to round4 at the gary given whats been going on :D

TRR - I haven't been out to the Club or been to any training runs and haven't rec'd any contact from anyone at the Club. Thefirst I heard of anything was running into Beebs this morning walking in the back door at work. He mumbled something about a tribunal last night and that was the first I had heard of it. To be quite honest I didn't bother to ring anyone at the Club about it so I still know nothing and what it is all about.
Can you or anyone else fill me in
Did we poach or did Tasmans ?

My contact at the PLFL tells me this was the case (allegedly)

tassies chased parker the wrong way (didn't write a letter or something), and got grilled with the "better not happen again" at the tribunal.

did the same thing with semmler and hollit.

they'd announced in the times that semmler was the coach (end 2009, even though his contract didnt run out til 31 december), and applied for a clearance a month later.

never sent "the letter..."

$1000 fine and loss of 2 premiership points

2 premiership points? Is that all ? The Melbourne Storm got 2 premierships taken away and are just playing for fun now this year. Plenty of sweaty palms around the PLFL at the moment.

I heard tonight "the letters " didn't get sent because it only had a 50 cent stamp on it and not the required 55 cent stamp. This has been verified by a little bald man at the post office. Tassies not guilty

Tassies will take this further and appeal the decision in the high court. 2 points is a harsh penalty

2 points = 1 win = half a season for the roosters

They may as well take the first half of the season off and go fishing with westcoastpanther

is is possible to change my tips?
waybacks 40+
rangers 1-39
bostons 1-39

in the GFFL i think ramblers by 3 goals. we have 3 players back in this week but 3 are out 2 with injury and 1 away so still 5 or 6 players away from full strength.

cougars will beat lock by around 8 goals
yellana to beat eyre united by 5 goals

I'm sure magic will line up on Austin Monfries, will be an unreal matchup, worth the entrance fee anyhow. I'm sure i'll be quoting your crAppy post most of the year UA.
Speaking of selection, a lot of blokes missed out tonight and i reckon we'll have a hard time even getting them to play b's on saturday. Not happy campers.

And i also found out tonight that Cambo, Doddy and H are on our club committee, Are the old crew handing over the show to the young ones to sort out? Or are they just introducing those boys to the ins and the outs of running the club? Either way a pretty big responsibility.
TFC.....the club for the future
