Have they got a up and coming FF coming up the ranks or will they have to look at recruiting because i wouldnt believe that Primey has many years left in him.

Surely that is irrelevant for this year's football season (unless he breaks down). I hear edna clark has bulked up a bit over the off-season, maybe he could be the next Plugga ;)

I heard Mallee's flogged Souths and Bostons just beat Tasmans. Is that right? Has everyone on here over rated Tasmans?

Tasmans have a heap of new recruits. 16 in total, none of them look any good to me.

The roosters will improve as the season goes on, they will be around the mark for a finals berth but talking premierships like they have been is way to premature. This is going to be a ripper season.

Don't know OnSong - as a few have said it is very very early to say one team or another has a chance or not. I rekn the results over the last 3 nights of footy will not give anyone a real idea at all cos they just kept turning around. Win one lose one etc. Results were always unpredictable also as we had wet nights, dry nights.
It is also fair it might take a team(s) a coupla weeks to settle down if they have multiple new recruits.
So everything points to not having any idea at all and perhaps confirms the opinion of a ripper year ahead as you and some others say ol

Tasmans got on top of a Jericholess Eagles after half time and won by about 4-5 goals. A terrible game to watch and god help Souths if Jerry gets injured this year.

Mallees kicked the first 3 of the second game and were running well. Bostons then hit back and drew level before the Peckers again took control in the last ten minutes of the second half to have most of the play. They were 5 points up and a goal after the siren saw them win by 11 points. There was a lot to like about the Tigers tonight and still have Austy Monfries to come in who could free up Sunny who was out of the play for long periods at FF.

Mallees would need to improve a lot for their to be daylight between them and second as Rossco suggested. IMHO
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....
