I heard the preseason cup was on just no one from Windsor or Wangary a pity really
because it dilutes what the League are trying to acheive .Maybe next year with a couple of GF
teams including a night game at Tumby

The colours are a fantastic black and white with a blue streak, excellent facilities and the ground is immaculate. Have joined membership with the GC 17 club and this doesnt mean im leaving the beloved pies but expanding the love for footy. Mate, can you keep me regularly updated on the weekends playmakers from the gary, gonna miss my local footy in PL and would appreciate the feedback. Heading to the GABBA this weekend to catch the Lions and the Blues, should be a cracker and hope Fev bags a bingle, opps i mean kicks a bag. Cheers mate, go The TITANS  if you dont follow NRL here you miss out on following sport !

Yeah mate hoping to get along to most games this year apart from the weekends when I go and see the lads play. Alby and I will team up again.
All the best up there. Gee those club colours sound bloody near perfect but Iv'e been a St george bloke all my life. I played footy in Darwin with a bloke whom I rekn played for Southport prior. Did strange things with a broom handle - fu***n funny

I walked my dog through centenary oval on Sunday morning and was disgusted at the state you left the ground in. It was mainly behind the goals near the scoreboard.

I dont even want to know what happened with a broom handle Steiger, sounds stiffly awful. The jumper for the sharks is actually BLACK & WHITE, the other one was the pre season jumper i saw, looked bloody fantastic too. The all white with the black V is something the rangers should adopt as it is a great looking guernsy, and it just so happens the southport club changed from the magpies to the sharks back in 94 i believe, this is the club for me !!!!! funny you should mention previous players from the club as i found out the club groomed current AFL players such as Nick Riewoldt, Sam Gilbert, Brent Renouf, Jesse White, Kurt Tippett, Andrew Raines and Dayne Beams all played football for the Southport Sharks. you can check out the clubs look at the site http://www.southportsharks.com.au click on the football tab for the jumper and profiles. not a bad membership either for just 6 quid ! A dragon fan hey, theyre doing alright with two wins on the trot from the start of the season, give Tokas senior some stick for me for how terrible Manly are :D

Manly should have beaten the premiership favourites on the weekend if the umpires did their job properly.

Does anyone know who the railway worker was that died this morning after being run over by a train?

footy program

Postby Ken Whelan Fan » Tue Mar 23, 2010 12:37 pm

Anyone had a look at the PLFL program how have teams fared ? I see only two night games this year pretty dissapointing
seeing the crowds that turn up including a few from over Winters Hill. I would have thought four or so to give all clubs
a chance to play in front of numbers. Bit surprised to see Waybacks not making the trek to Ravendale good enough to use
it for a training facility but not good enough for Saturdays ? or wont Horgs let you go over the road without an adult
surpervising.

KWF - i might let someone from the WFC footy dept answer that one, regarding Ravendale. Having said that last year we had two games at Wangary, Mallee Park and Poole oval - in what was a shocking draw.... I do see that we again go to Mallee Park and Wangary twice this season.... paying the price for one particular club only going to Wangary once a year....We do get a fair share of games at Centenary this year...

I actually love the trip to Wangary and over the years have had some epic battles against the Rangers, especially when you kick towards the bar in the last quarter - Barney and the boys certainly give it to ya!!.....Great country footy!

Mallee Park has never been a happy hunting ground...

where is this so called PLFL programme rossco? no one knows anything about it or has seen it that I have spoken to. I heard it had not been finalized yet as two clubs were not happy with it.

What are the games for round 1? are they spread over 3 days?

Can anyone post the draw on here?

It would be good to get some inside info from the PLFL. What happened to marble park and coyote ugly they were always spot on with their PLFL info.
I do smell a rat with the waybacks/ravendale situation. Something has happened here, after wanting to be co-host of the pre season cup with the roosters the demons pulled out and then didn't want to play at ravendale all season, which the PLFL has since granted. Allegedly the deal that Tasmans put on the table with the pre-season cup was laughable and no compromise could be made, so the demons took their bat and ball and went home (never to return it seems). TRR knows a lot more than he is letting on, plenty of splinters UA ;)
