the reasoning behind not supporting the pre season cup were they had already arranged a trial against United Yeelanna, some of the boys were still involved/committed to cricket finals and there were concerns that the length of the comp took it to to the Thursday of Easter andquite a few were going to be away. Which would seem to me to be quite rational points and something that the league and the clubs need to take on board.

Spot on KWF - they are the exact reasons we did not participate

It is not Jamie Kidney going to Tasmans it is his brother Sam. Jamie is staying at south

why may he have to walk home KWF?

Tasmans have been rideculed for years for having no heart. I hope they prove you all wrong this year. As long as they don't beat us and acockfromwayback doesn't get a kick.

I think SES are certain to win this weekend. They have the advantage in the bowling but the batting looks pretty similar between the two sides. south bowling is average look at critchley, hewitson and the sincocks are bowling machines. I still think we have the best batting list in the competition. Who do you guys think will win?

How sure are you all that Tasmans will make the finals? My secretary wants to bet me a 'under the desk job' that they will finish top 3 this year. Anyone got any advice because I would have to be pretty drunk to venture under that desk!!!!! On the other hand after a couple of coldies a nibble under my desk sounds alright on a Friday night. Please give me some advice, should I take the bet. I dont think they will be top 3.

The best team does not always win, look at last year.

Nothing in it as we saw in the 2nd semi

IF waybacks lose I'm sure the Tasmans fans would make BTB walk all the way home to Victoria

He hasn't been out yet that i have seen? He wouldn't make our A grade anyway. We might have someone else from Souths though, but i have to keep that under wraps.

In cricket news, my best mate Leonidis top scored in the grade cricket competition on the weekend, i spoke to him Monday arvo and he reckons he had a call from Redbacks performance manager "Jamie Cox" in regards to a possible contract next year with redbacks. I'm not sure whether it is a rookie contract or what but he is insanely excited to say the least.
