Thanks for your ideas guys, however I believe the Senior Cricket doesnt start to around 3 and the U/14 are finished around 11.30 - 12pm so there is still an opportunity for most to get down to Ravendale for a short time just to show some support, the date is pretty firm as they have there last Academy day, and their will be a lot of Port Adelaide Heirarchy their that will be only too happy to speak to everyone about their ideas they may help them survive beyond 2010. But we need to send a clear message to the SANFL you can't let the Magpies die!!!!! Any one else with any ideas they want to send through would be appreciated.

Have been trying to catch up with footy movements in PL . There aren't any official links for clearances (even though a bunch of leagues do have one) so can anyone tell me how Waybacks look after a disappointing finish last year?

According to a tasman official that I spoke to today at the post office a deal has been done that will see M Riccuito and I Perrie play 4 games throughout the season for the roosters to qaulify for finals. That is big news if it eventuates.

Spoke to sarge Ozzie day, that won't happen !!heard he'sheaded some were for big dollars. N with the side they will have it would be silly to fly them in for 4 games when the local lads who have done a pre season n put there hand up to play A grade to be dropped for them,I don't think it's a good idea!it would unsettle the side.yea there guns but I don't think it's a good idea.

From a club perspective the extra $$$ and exposure would be invaluable for ravendale if Roo and the Sarge played a couple of night games. They could teach the young kids a few things too.
Not to mention these two would be big game players come finals.
If it is not going to cost much then I think its good for the game and good for your club.
Livefooty the TFC think it is a great idea and so would most of the football public. I put it to you all for disscussion...

It would be good for the club n would bring in some much needed funds but my thoughts are the tassie A grade will have a great side without them n it needs to be settled So it can have a crack at finals n to c 2 players dropped come finals time for roo n sarge would just start to much shit in the club as it is now the club is going to have a shit load of players missing out in the b grade side like last year.I'm not a fan of the idea.but I also know it won't happen well sarge anyway.

perhaps we could all start a game and list names of recently retired AFL players who are coming to our club to play this year.

I'll start it off - Rumour has it that Marble Range are about to sign Gavin Wanganeen and Josh Francou

I'm best mates with said 'silly billy', perhaps I should have just said Billy...

Bostons may surprise this year Longy, only lost two players (one of very high quality obviously) but have quietly recruited several good players. We never got done by any more than a couple of goals last year and with further improvement 4th spot is wide open, IMHO.
