Souths were rolled for 52 chasing SES's 93 at Centenary. Waybacks beat Charlton by about 40 I think and Tasmans chased down 200 to beat Toddies.

Eags, you said a couple of weeks ago it was one of the best decks you had seen at Centenary. How does it go backwards so quickly? These questions need to be asked and answers provided by the PLCA, rather than them putting their heads in the sand and labelling everyone trouble makers for caring.....

As I said earlier it had so much turf on it and it was so soft and hard to compact for WF. It was wet clay like underneath when I looked on Friday. I don't know if it improved by saturday but I would say the bowlers marks and batting marks on the pitch would have left holes after play due to it being that wet. Eags? The lush grass would now be surrounded by holes I would suggest as it was that wet underneath.
He probably put to much water into it or not enough preperation has gone in to it again.
Again not good enough!

Instead of all whinging on here why don't you all make a stand and not play on the pitch. That will make the PLCA take notice.

The PLCA would resort to their normal course of action and fine both clubs and give no points to either side. Fines pull everyone into line and give a feeling of authority......

Why are waybacks going to get involved with this pre-season cup crap rossco?
I can not understand? What is in it for you?

More recruits coming in from MWFL. Parks is doing a great job already. Kelshy is considering a move to us.

Hey Walshy we are not paying in the pre-season cup either. They had better hope some country sides come down or it wont happen.

Not really sure - the call to hold it or play in it isn't my decision or concern anymore. The benefits to the football public is they may get to see some different sides from different leagues, plus seeing all the new recruits and first gamers from their respective sides. I enjoyed watching it from the complex last year...

The comment I made was about people bagging clubs for trying to organise it - I get tired of the consistant negativity around opposition opinions to your own and that of your own club. Sometimes the big picture for the future and viability of the PLFL should come before any short term benefit of any particular club.
