and before anyone else brings it up...... we as a club didnt play in this carnival last season - which was my decision as the senior coach - as it didnt fit in our pre-season at such short notice. In hindsight it may have been the wrong decision!! - but thems the breaks. But we certainly held the bar up, often being the last to leave!!

you were probably the only one there.

I took my family last year and the lack of organization and facilities was amazing. Good luck with that one.

I hope Tasmans organize it a lot better than they have their loan repayments.

I know one club that will have no part of the whole thing what-so-ever. us.

What would be a good name for the cup?

I have come up with a few

'Ian Bufitt Cup'.... How can we stand here and not honour the great man

'Cockademon Cup'.....After the great initiative shown by the PLFL's two highest profile clubs

'Ratepayers Cup'..... We should aknowledge the owners of the place

'Richardson Cup'.... After 2 great players Bob snr and Laurie

'City Council Cup'.... How remiss of me, Where would we be without them and their wise decisions

Feel free to add some more

Eags how did that pitch play on Saturday? I was surprised both captains agreed to play on it. I know we wouldn't have played on it. It was dangerous.
I went for a look on Friday and Wayne was there and I asked him when the next game was being played on here and I nearly fell over when he said "tommorow". The turf was so soft on top and clearly underneath the lush turf it had way too much moisture in it. I had presumed he was getting it ready for the next week.
If we dish something like this up when the PACC visit it will be very embarressing if EP are all out for 50.
