One thing is for sure we definately are in better shape.....bring on seaon 2010.
You'll be needing to start waving the cash round steakn, last thing i heard you guys were losing Rodda, Dunn, Nagel boys, Wake, Rayson, Marshall, as well as possibly Kidney, Story and Green. I heard a rumour that Story and Kidney were training with Eyre United on friday night? Eags can you confirm?

Anyone heard much about Waybacks? Noddy and Stuart Green are leaving.

By the way we signed another gun in Rick Leonard(?) from Cleve last week. Also very close to wrapping up Dan Lee from up that way too. I believe Dan won the mail medal a few years ago... :D

The only thing that will beat Tasmans this year is bad luck and injuries. I agree totally with acock

not "implying" too much acock...

simply that if Souths' were set to lose one of their Kidney's, then Steakn would be in the know...

i didn't think that required too much brain power to work out...

OK i see your point, I was just presuming that Eags would have been able to tell us if they were there or not.

MP, is the preseason comp running this year? It would be very good if we could start getting some info on it, None of our management seem to know whats going on with it?

That's an interesting one...

Ran by Mark Fisher in 2009, it is fairly certain of going ahead, apparently under the joint direction of Tasman and Wayback FC's. So I would hope some, if not all, of your management, would be in the know.

Judging on how long it took me to organise the junior carnival's last year, I'd have thought they'd be onto it fairly heavily by now- but then again, they could be far better at this sort of thing than me!

It was discussed at the first 2010 meeting (last tuesday).

Waybacks announced it (to the surprise of most), that they and Tasmans FC would be hosting it.

They spoke about the other Lincoln sides, as well as maybe out of PLFL teams being in it again...

I think it's been left up to Waybacks and Tasmans (not sure on that), but we'll certainly know before the next meeting...

Story and Kidney didn't train with us last week ... we'd be more than happy to have them out there though!

surely two clubs working together can only be a good thing?

Those people continually knocking may need to have a look at their own club and determine whether if they used positive energy rather than negative - you may actually achieve something....
