Of course they are.

Obst named as coach the previous year so that South were required to clear him. Now Miles is named coach.

I haven't looked into it but I would assume that the rules obviously don't define what makes someone a 'coach'? They could easily argue that Miles or Obst allows Barnett to coach on match days so they could focus on playing.

Clearly against the spirit of the laws but probably not actually a breach is my guess...

Am reading on the SANFL thread that Dean Terlich from Norwood looks to be taking the coaching reigns at Tanunda. Any truth to this?

You will find that most clubs will go down this path, hire a very good senior assistant to oversee game day operations ..smart I guess.

Big appointment, don’t know about his coaching abilities. But he will probably be the best player in the League

Former Eagles (SANFL), Gold Coast (AFL) and Glenelg (SANFL) player Tim Sumner signed with South Gawler.

Lad has heaps of talent and should be a very good player in the comp.

Angastons very own Gary Ablett aka Craig Harvey is making a return next year still pretty fit after playing A Grade at a few Victorian clubs

Not a huge amount happening here. Any teams outside of Tanunda done any recruiting - have heard Boxer will be leaving Freeling, anyone know where he might be heading off to
