They had started well but they have quite a soft draw with the sides they get to play 3 times. Where as kersbrook, nairne and Bridgewater all play each other 3 times. Write the brookers off at your own peril, they win when it matters. Much like Uraidla.

Couldn't agree more. People have been writing the brookers off every year yet they still get the job done when it matters most.

Cannot find out exactly what happened. Evidently a group including the coach got up to mischief at the Medieval Fair and whatever happened was enough to sack him. haven't heard if anyone else was disciplined.

Nairne just a bit too quick for kersbrook yesterday. Both had notable outs.
Their press and run is pretty impressive from what I've seen. Well drilled side.

Might put the Mt.Gould Cup against Gumeracha slightly in Kersbrook's favour

Has been training out there, I'm sure he'll play enough to qualify at least. I guess it's up to how often the Crows SANFL team has Sunday games.

I did say never write the brookers off!
They'll need to win nearly every game to snatch a top 3 spot, birdwood play all the lower sides 3 times and stole a win from kersbrook earlier in the year. Could be the difference.
Kersbrooks old heads against Nairne and their run and gun? Could be!

Heard today that a Maccesfield player in the B grade King hit a Birdwood player that wouldn't harm a fly. He ended with 15 stitches to his eye socket. They said that neither umpires officiating would have seen it as it was behind play. I hope Birdwood club report the offender. This act isn't part ofHills footy

I think he'll get the games in no worries. Jesse Aish is assistant coach at Norwood and he never misses a game for Echunga

If that true, that is disgraceful.
Thought that things were getting better in country footy in that regard but perhaps not.
Certainly some interesting characters running around in Maccy B's this year

I have heard first hand from a maccy B grader, and it is true. May be even worse. Not a King hit from what I'm told, a 3 punch combo...... At which his team mates were bragging about later on.

Disgusting.
