Seems a bit low-key, but looking forward to local footy being back!

Will go the same 5

Premiership Table Prediction after Rd 18

Top 4 look certain Finals contenders
5th spot between Bays, Strath & Compass
Be shocked if Creek are in the running with the quality of players that have left the Club / Retired etc

McLaren
Victor
Myp/Sel
Willunga
E Bay

Strath
Compass
Creek

Yank

Goolwa/PE

Controversy over at McLaren I hear!

Scoreboard had McLaren by 2 points.
goal umps agreed on a draw
Timekeepers had McLaren win…..

Rules say draw if goal umps agree that stands I believe [emoji2369]

Not sure what the controversy would be ?

Goal umpires agreeing is all that counts

From vast experience it wouldn’t be a day at the footy without the scoreboard and timekeepers scores being out
Happens all the time

Very bleak season coming up for GPE and Yank going on today scores

Agreed.

I guess they’ll watch the replay and see if they were robbed.

  I'd be rich if i had a $ for every scorebook that hasn't added up over the decades

Been told that Gianni reviewed the replay and confirmed the Goal Umpires were indeed spot on with the Draw.

Yeah this week should give a little more clarity to how sides are tracking..

I think:
Bays over creek by 20
Victor to beat McLaren by 25
Compass to beat Pongy at home by 5
Willunga over strath by 11
Yank over GPE by 23

Had a look at McLaren’s side in round 1… interestingly 7 of them played in the B grade GF last year.

Strathalbyn beat Willunga by 3 points.

Would be hard on the players with the colours. Saw a couple of accidental handballs to the opposition

Round 3 ANZAC round continues with McLaren meeting Willunga in the GF rematch. Amazingly they sit at 8 and 9 on the ladder with McLaren having drawn with Pongy in rd 1 the only points between them. I think McLaren have better form but the game is at willunga. Toss the coin- maybe McLaren.

Compass over Goolwa

Pongy over Yank

Bays take on VH at VH with them sitting top 2 after 2 rounds. Bays have surprised early but I think VH will have too much class and should get over the line.

Rd 3 saw fairly predictable results

Creek over Strath by 9 points in front of a massive crowd at Creek Thursday night. Was probably the only 50/50 game of the round.

Myp/Sel by 78 over Yank . Not a complete blowout. Yank somewhat competitive it seems

McLaren by 40 over Willunga after a low scoring tight struggle for 3 quarters.
McLaren by 104 in the B Grade whilst keeping Willunga goaless    When would that have ever happened ??

Compass by 133 over GPE who at least kicked 8 goals.

Victor demolished the Bays in a real statement for the rest of the teams in the comp winning by 103

Early call but looks like Victor shall be playing either McLaren or Myp/Sell in the GF. Those 3 are well ahead of the rest

Round 4 guesses

Bays to hit back by 9 points over Compass
Creek by 56 over Yank
McLaren by 38over Strath
Victor by 200+ over GPE
Myp/Sel by 28 over Willunga who will be 0 - 4 after 4 rounds

Pongy did that in the B's last week at Compass . :)

Just an honest question from a long time GSFL follower, why doesn’t PlayHQ show clubs points in this comp.
