Politics?! WTF?!

Postby Mr66 » Mon Mar 12, 2007 5:20 pm

A politics forum!
While we're at it, why don't we have a Pedophile forum, Al-Quaeda forum, People-smuggler forum,
Crystal meth users forum, Collingwood forum and a Melbourne Tram drivers forum.
Sheesh!
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

That's a bloody good idea! After all you are not allowed to speak to them when they are driving. On here you could ask them which stop to get off at for South Melbourne Market and they could actually answer you!

Mr66 are you a 96 or 112 man?

1 - East Coburg-South Melbourne Beach.
This is two blocks from my place, the others are about 10 minutes away.
112 runs past my workplace & 96 is a block away in town for me.

Ah! You are in the heart of Albert Park. We are really lucky we can get the 112,96 or 16.

Mr 66 might actually live "north of the river". He could be in Carlton or anywhere up to East Coburg. He only mentions the number 1 as being two blocks from home.

South Melbourne Market? Take the 96 and press the button after the City Road stop.

St Kilda? 96 over the 112 or 16 as it goes the light rail route which is far quicker.

In beautiful Richmond, I have the 48 and 75 on Bridge Road, the 70 on Swan Street, the 76/78 on Church Street which goes up Chapel  and the train from Burnley Station which can do the Lilydale, Belgrave and Mount Waverley lines. Very versatile. :D

Can't comment on the #1 as I've never caught it, but in the late 90's (when the 112 was the 12 and still had conductors) I use to catch it at the start of the Park St run, as I was working on Beaconsfield Parade. On more occassions than I care to remember one simply didn't turn up between 6pm and 7pm. In hindsight would have been better off walking to Fitzroy Street but of course as soon as you start walking.....

A Pedophile forum?
You're kidding!

Al-Quaeda forum?
It'll bomb!

People smuggler forum?
Only for those with something to hide!

Crystal meth users forum?
Watch this site go up in smoke!

Collingwood forum?
You wouldn't read about it because they can't!

Melbourne tram drivers forum?
At least every topic would stay on track!
