I met her and sat at a table with her and others from the party once in La Trattoria a few years back.
Former ALP state minister Terry Groom took me over and introduced us, and she was friendly to him and me.

But I think she was in the wrong in this case.

This is really odd, obviously it's a bit of prettyness as well from the opposition, still odd.

I mean why go to the trouble, she's sitting on the backbench, they don't even have the numbers.

Gotta feel for Dave Spiers. Dealing with the great unwashed is the worst. Dealing with people, yuck, who signed up for that.

In good news though it's likely this won't last much longer for him.

Since those comments were leak out from David Spiers it seems people have really started looking into him and he's not having a good week.

Some fantastic leadership shown by the SA pollies.
Covid scare? Let's suspend Parliament till May.
Maybe everyone should do the same.

Little do to with the COVID scare and more to do with covering the patches exposed in the government by Duluk and Cregan wandering off the reservation.

Limited window to exploit a temporary majority on the floor while the Weatherill cluster locked out much of the labor party.

Think its more to do with the upcoming election due in March. Only difference from the last 4 times when Labor were in power is there is a pandemic happening

Agree with both of you but to use pollie speak, "it's the optics!".

The more substantive difference is that the constitution was amended after Cregan and Duluk **** the government removing the power from the Government and placing it in control of the House of Assembly.

When the Government was able to temporarily regain control of the House it was able to exercise the powers by a majority of the House that it (and its predecessors) were able to exercise as the executive government.

They had to close it down, and took the opportunity when 2 of the Labor MPs were in quarantine.

Simply couldn't go through a number of months getting reamed in the lower house.

All hail our new overlords.

Pat Cummins should know better than to come here to challenge her power. Lucky he only got 7 days. A strong message had to be sent.

Jesus Christ is Steve Marshall all there?

We have small business owners on the brink, pubs and clubs shutting as it's just not viable or them to be open again, some not looking to open up at all and now old mate Steve bangs on about Holiday destinations, opening up resiviours and getting ready for a party in 15 years.

Has he conceded already they are cooked in March?

Or is he over it and just wants to lose now?

Because is making is Pete look good at the moment.

Then you have Corey Wingard abusing people on Twitter and making Turbo Tom look sensible.

I guess the implosion is on.

Then you have the SA liberal Media twitter account which looks like it is run by a 16 hear old young liberal the way it carries on.

Christ this state is so ******.

Haven't read it myself, but I would have thought the smart thing would be not to let Young Liberals, Young Labor, Young Anything within a bull's roar of an official party twitter account.

It's either that or they let the work experience kid have a crack at it.
