I'm surprised you've put an anti-Federal and State Labor spin on that news, Jimmy
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/6873 ... cide-pact/Baby shot in global warming 'suicide pact'.
A note found on a table in the family's home led authorities to suspect the deaths were the result of an apparent suicide pact brought on by concerns about global warming, according to the reports.
I'd be interested in the figures over a longer period, if anyone has access, to see if there is a pattern of fluctuations, as looking at an apparent correlation over a very short period doesn't prove much.Gozu wrote:"When dead workers weren't quite so important":

This one appears to have been pulled from this and several other sites, which suggests it may have lacked credibility.Gozu wrote:Hardly a surprise, "Intervention "psychologically damaging":....

[Unless, of course, you assume a right wing group of conspirators have suppressed it.. ]
The "doctors' association" reference intrigues me.
There has been nothing about it in the mainstream medical literature lately.
So, the only "doctors' association" I can think of that might have made a comment would be the radical left "Doctors' Reform Society" known in the profession as the "Labor Doctors' Club".
Last time I checked, about 4 years ago, all its 30 odd member were also members of the ALP.
They are in the press a lot, spreading their propaganda, and pretending they are representative of the profession as a whole.
