I can't see Labor losing this one.

I also think the Premier is every chance to lose his seat.

Libs campaign leaving a lot to be desired. Using Lucas as they have. He has the charisma of a wet dog blanket.

Plus they got John Howard over today to campaign for the SA Libs, not a good sign for them.

Lucas has been dreadful, what the hell are they thinking. Steve needed to be out there as much as possible.

As for Labor keeping Tom quiet, sound move really. By him bit shooting his mouth off, it could well be the difference.

Steve has been doing some last ditch door knocking. Premiers curse. Way too little and way too late. Labor have put a lot of effort into their candidate in Dunstan. She has been out and about for over 2 years.

They have not read the room,

The most lacklustre I can recall at federal or state level. It's as if they're not actually trying. Still, we'll see what happens on election night.

Not sure about that, it will still be close but expect a decent swing way from the Libs.

In some seats it will be close because some parts of town will always vote Libs. That's why the seat of Adelaide will be close even though Rachel Sanderson is a debacle in herself. Heck she might even get up and hold on just based on that.

Other seats I think are still safe Libs will be Hartley (Tarzia), Unley (Pisoni) and Morialta (Gardiner).

Adelaide will be a roll of the dice.

Not sure Marshall is safe but should win, can't see that area voting Labor.

I'm a bit SE of Norwood but I seriously have no recollection of John Cummins

I always remember a candidate named Ubaldi

He was standing on a box, & speaking, in Norwood Mall
Let's just say it was all ESL
Someone at the back yelled "You bewdy Ubaldi!"
He yelled straight back "You bewdy mate!"
Never forgotten it - best political rally I've ever been to

Interesting. I don't think Marshall has been restrictive enough - far to keen to please business interests.
Overall, I think I got my Covid dose at the ANZ Community Ball charity function - "Ball" with no dancing but over 600 people closely packed on the tables for dinner and wine. (The SA Health advice that I must have got it later than that within 2 days of symptoms showing doesn't make sense since I hadn't been anywhere risky in that period.)

The public service increases during the past 4 years of a Liberal Govt and now Labor are going to cut it

Mind you, during the previous 4 years they paid out millions in separation packages and still increased numbers

Then again, after a concerted (& untruthful) campaign by SA unions to get Labor back in, I dont like their chances - actually our chances of saving money.
Another crop of 70+ year old public servants will be licking their lips about getting a big severance package. Poor buggers had to wait another 4 years
