A better question would be who was the last president that didn't have an attempted assassination attempt against them.

Were they actually attempts or threats?

Bit of both but mainly attempts all be it poor ones.

PS If it was my country I wouldn't want Trump to get a vote.

Not so sure.
There might be a country or two that doesn't mess with Australia because of our standing in a world watched over by the U.S.
Didn't he give the impression that he'll be looking after American interests only from now on?
Wouldn't that cause various power vacuums in key spots around the world?

The positive is I've already thought of a new line of merchandise for North fans. Red and white caps that say "Make North Adelaide Great Again!" :D

Yes, and how's he going to do that?

By keeping the Mexicans out lol

If he wants to promote US manufacturing, he should probably keep the Mexicans in. They're the ones more likely to work for minimum wage, keeping US made stuff down in prices, so US residents can actually afford to buy American instead of Chinese.

Bazinga. The US economy is propped up big time by illegal immigration.

They actually police the border so as to ensure the only successful routes are also the most dangerous, so when you actually make it, you'll do whatever it takes to stay.

My guess is our currency will slide in the short term. Probably recover when new markets become established. This will be a time of uncertainty, in such times investors turn towards the yen, owing to Japan's high rate of savings. I think the U.S will be investing in policies that will strengthen their dollar. My guess is you won't be getting a good rate.

I would say this is correct and the markets will settle down. Just a bit of fear at the moment.

Whereas Trump said he wasn't going to accept the result if he didn't win, the election would've been rigged, he'd impeach the president, and encouraged people to rise up in such a case.
If it's sore losers that tickles your funny bone, you'd have wet yourself if Trump lost.
