I think it just continues to show how much of a low point we are in Australian political history. No one is really deserving of the PM's job, from any party.

I think it shows that the voting public votes are meaning more now days also . the previous government and this government could see things wouldn't end well in the next elections so the Indians behind closed doors bring their own leader down to protect their jobs for the future..

never thought i would be happy to see a liberal prime minister, but i am right now. Gay marraige now seems a formality, as does, hopefully, an ETS.

Will be interesting to see what his stance on Asylum seekers will be

I reckon a high percentage of people vote for the person, not the party.

You're not a legitimate Prime Minister until you've won an election.

you vote for your local member though, not the party. (though i accept that it rarely ends up being more than a proxy vote for one of the leaders)

Barnaby Joyce threatening the Nats might walk away from govt if their demands aren't meant by Turnbull.

Slot that one into the 'pigs arse' tray.

Not really all that decisive. 54 - 44.

Regardless of who is PM, and yes I thought he was a fool, but still I dont believe thats how a PM should be treated by his own party.

Even with KRudd it didnt seem right. But oh well thats life I guess.

Be interesting to see if Turnbull can turn around this absolute trainwreck of a government in time for the election.
