The difference is, Turnbull has some chance of winning an election - unlike the mad monk
Which is why I don't think he will come into leadership this early out from the election

Policy changes being made on the run by Abbott and his office will stop if he's removed.
Well we will see I guess.

Abbott is gone .... his only defence now is to beg his party not to be like Labor.
If the spill motion doesn't succeed tomorrow, the government will continue to be a circus.

Abbott didn't even have the courtesy to allow the whip to advise the Liberal MPs of the change of the party room meeting to deal with the spill motion.
He can call the meeting when he wishes, but extremely poor form that MPs find out about the change of date from the media.

Will be very interesting to see how this pans out. Already have Barnaby threatening that the Nats could split if there is a leadership change

Does anyone seriously believe that the Nats would implode the government by withdrawing from the coalition and therefore triggering an election? The coalition would be slaughtered at a subsequent election.
Just a bluff to spook the Liberal backbench.

The Poodle has gone to ground, probably crapping himself about backing the winning horse.
Meanwhile, back at Labor headquarters ...

Interesting to note - Labor cops a lot for being unstable - which it was during government - but since John Howard's demise Labor has had three leadership changes, as have Liberal.
Again proving they're both the same as each other.
