A group of twenty youths is an enemy planting itself in our country now. Another article designed to feed xenophobia.

Which also said that Hamas Isis and al Qaeda are "exact ideological companions" or whatever which is just plain false.

I don't think he's entitled to have an opinion about that

Its interesting. I only read part because my phone is going **** master at the moment but I think he is trying to push the idea that you need to back up your statements before you shoot off with thats my opinion.

I was reading that this morning and had a chuckle. Hes trying to justify the fuel excise tax but struggling a bit. This will not help matters one would think.

Apparently he has stats and figures to back this up. Good on ya joe. About time we stuck it to those poor people.

Ps Stan caught a bus to the office this morning......

Manipulate statistics as you will.

But ultimately a bloke on $1m p.a would pay the same tax on fuel that a bloke on $50k p.a would pay.

Based on 1c or 1.5c per litre = about 90c extra per month for me
I get more pi$$ed off when the price goes up by 10c and I look at my gauge and I'm nearly empty

Ok so recently we have had a few issues with our government boys. With poor Joe, sometimes you mean something and it just doesnt come across the right way or the papers just seem to lets say make mistakes. Lets add this to George Brandis, and Eric Abetz. They have also had it a bit rough in recent weeks. Poor old George, that damn internet thingo didnt go well, hey lets be honest I'm not IT guru either. And Mr Abetz, well hey look hey has the stats to back this up or the reports or something. So lets call this a "Form Slump" at the moment because surely the great saviours of this great country are like our sporting teams and not up for 100% of the season?

Note: Stan is just rambling, if you libs out there take offense then please go have a few drinks and chill out. We all need a bit of fun now and again. ;)

Totally agree
But they don't get any better after those few drinks
Turnbull still looks like the only one that has got a brain
Shorten is pretty ballsy for someone who cant even beat Abbott in a popularity poll
Call an election and slip Turnbull into the PM chair
That would f*** Shorten up

What the hell is tony doing?

Quite hilarious given Australia has benefited greatly from its independence from England.

PM's comments on Scottish independence 'bewildering'

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has declared supporters of Scottish independence are not "friends of freedom" or "friends of justice" in an interview with a British newspaper.

Mr Abbott's comments, which were published in The Times, are the strongest yet by a major foreign leader on the Scottish independence debate, and follow on from calls from United States president Barack Obama to keep the union intact.

Scotland goes to the polls on September 18 to decide whether to break away from the 307-year-old union with England.

"What the Scots do is a matter for the Scots and not for a moment do I presume to tell Scottish voters which way they should vote," Mr Abbott said.

"As a friend of Britain, as an observer from afar, it'...
