So am I. The precious brigade threatens free speech in this country. Reminds me of my days at uni in the 70s if you weren't a bloody commo, then your views were howled down together with threats of violence. It's amazing how many of those old lefties I see reported in the paper etc these days, in comfortable high paid jobs, bugger the proletariat. Nothin' like a few bucks to "convert" a socialist

"Commo's, lefties, latte drinkers, bleeding hearts, socialists, etc, etc,....
Now it's the minorities own fault.
Perhaps those who object to racist comments just recognise an obvious wrong when they see it.

I think everyone has prejudices, which some are better at hiding them than others. The problem is when one has a prejudice, be it racism or whatever and they act with evil intent because of it, that's another matter. I think Punky has made an excellent point, if we bow too much to minorities one day we'll wake up without free speech.
I have just enrolled an overseas student (from Iran) to come and study with me next year. Guess what? I received a Christmas card from him, how politically incorrect by our standards. I think there are too many people in "mainstream" Australia, being outraged on behalf of minorities. So merry Christmas becomes "happy holidays" I think the minorities don't give a damn they're too busy studying, working etc.
