Oh jesus that looks like a kids being thrown......
Then throw in the umpires were in bright green which was closer to his own teams guernsey than the oppositions so going to be hard to plead mistaken identity.

I don't think he intends to pull the umpire to the ground at all.
I think he's getting rag-dolled himself and grabs onto whatever he can for a bit of stability and it happens to be the umpire.
With that said, you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes, He's the one who started the push and shove when he had the first crack at the southerns player.
He'll get a long holiday you'd think.
