Just start hitting on them steve.
Either the partner will get worried and then not allow them to come any more, or, far more likely, you'll scare them off.

Should not be let out of the kitchen, bedroom or cleaning the house. While they are at training they should be cooking tea ;) ;)

Here here! However warm-ups with the ground-touches, looking at some of these ladies touching the ground........ yes please! But then the balls come out, and I have never seen a girl kick a footy properly nor over some distance. Not saying some blokes do either, but come on, have a chardonnay and talk about Home And Away!

What do you do if your missus comes out the kitchen to nag you while she's making dinner?

Make the chain shorter.

Good to see the bogan culture of the 70's and 80's is still alive and well.

We have had kids train with us, the occasional canine and spots were open to women for fitness training for our specialised 10 week course late last year. Once the skills and match practice training kicks in then yeah, it should be limited to players only, but honestly who gives a crap if a female joins in on a 3km time trial or warm up?!? Are you guys that insecure? Are you scared they might get in the change rooms with you and see your little peckers?

I trained with the Salisbury A's & B's last year and it was great. Being my first year of playing football i found it was a great way to learn more about the game rather than just the basic skills. The guys were all really supportive (although it probably helps when you're the captains gf :p haha)

I already had 'good' skills by using them daily for my job at the SANFL. If i wasnt able to keep up with the boys i wouldnt have joined in. They all knew that they could tell me to go away at any point...

I would run water for them on game day as a way of 'thanking' them, so everyone was happy... well i was anyway, lol. Pag please speak up if you see this and feel differently

I see where you're coming from if there are more than one gf running around the place as that may be hard for the rest of the team. I would only train on thursday nights so that the guys could train together as a team on the other 2 nights. How many nights do they train?

i'm sure this is going to upset a few but could'nt care less to be honest women training with blokes for me is not on, for many reasons and the main 1 for me is how upset do coach's get when a drill stuffs up and mistakes made? you want your drills running smoothly not stopping trying to help a chick learn to kick.

chicks playing footy is fine but not training with us train with there side.

then there is the case of if the blokes mrs is a fair piece and wear gym type clothes training what are blokes going to be looking at? and dont say they wont be at the end of the day we have a d!ck so were going to look which could sorry would! corse issue's.........

for me its just asking for trouble.

so go for it call me a sexist, tell me i'm from the 50's and i'm a bogan could'nt give a toss the answer for mine is chicks training with us NO WAY!
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

and it's a chance to get away from the chicks and talk shit with the lads.

It's not about being politcally correct or from different generations.

It's just not on.

hahaha, funniest thing is he is the master chef... not me :p

When i would train the whole time i would be thinking about stuffing up it up for everyone else... which in the end made me a better player. If i thought the drill would be too hard, or out of my skill level i would step to the side and kick with someone else who was unable to do the drill for whatever reason. If i did stuff up i would have to be like every other player out there and work my ass off to chase it up. I was treated no differently during drills... bum taps after are a different and more awkward story

I know that training is a chance to get a way from the 'chicks' and talk *** with the lads... which is the exact reason why i would never do the warm up before hand. You can't tell me that during your warm up you arent getting most of your 'small' talk 8) out in the open before training starts. I love it when the boys get together and have a laugh (unless it's about me  haha, jk) which is why they know they can talk around me. I would get annoyed if they went out of their way to say 'well done lads/ guys/ boys... and girl'

How about for all of those who don't like girls training... i come out to one of your trainings some time and attempt to change your mind *hint hint* Carey ;) :))

She trains better than most of us anyway. None of the drills ever suffered when she was involved and no one ever complained when she was kicking to you as normally it was lace out.

I do Auskick at our local school. After all the BS drills and excercises as per the manual we split the kids into two groups and play a match of two halves of 12 minutes. There's a 10 year old girl who can find the ball and kick it longer and with more accuracy than anyone else in the entire squad of around 24 mixed genders. She is fearless, doesn't cry or spit it when she occasionally gets flattened and when we do laps she leads all the way and finishes in front every time. She can play better than any 10 year old or up to 12 year old boy that I have ever seen.
Caution! You are now entering the no-spin zone...

Thats not that un common Darth
Girls mature earlier then girls making them stronger and bigger at that young age. Different story once the boys hit puberty. Perfect example is Erin Phillips who use to dominate footy when she was younger.

Haha I remember playing against her in SANFL Jnr development u/13s or 14s when she was playing for the Eagles. She was bigger than most of the boys and youre 100% correct, she dominated!!

In all seriousness KLAG, i dont see the issue with the girls wanting to have a training session with the blokes. It can only develop the game further and see more women involved, whether it be as a player in a womens comp or a committee member at their partners club etc....

As long as the women understand (which you eluded to) that at some stage the coach will want to gather just the blokes for some physical drills or game simulation training.

Overall though im all for it as it may see the girls develop their skills and understanding of the game training with men....

and who knows...someday we may be able to banish the mrs for "spending too much time at the footy club"
