Just giving you all a special heads up about the Sports Trainers course that the SANFL and State Training Services are holding next Tuesday.
The SANFL and State Training Services are holding an upcoming Level 0 Sports Trainers Course at AAMI Stadium, Tuesday the 7th of September.
This course is specifically designed for participants to gain basic skills and knowledge in sports injury management and injury prevention.
It is suitable for participants who have a general interest in sports first aid and would like to assist their club and schools sports trainer.
The course will be held at the following time:
AAMI Stadium (Park Café, enter gate 9) – Tuesday, 7th September 2010 – 6:30-10:30pm
The cost of this course will be $80.00 per person and will include the following:
CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
Management of Sports Injuries
Skin Injuries (cuts/abrasions)
Taping and strapping
R.I.C.E.R. Management
Report Writing
Certification is valid for one year and is recognised through inclusion on the NTIS (National Training Register).
