Starting training in October is ridiculous. Most AFL clubs aren't even training yet.

Amateur League finishes alot earlier than the AFL.
Especially those that didn't play finals.

And AFL players wold be doing their own training which would be more than the average amateur pre-season.

You might want to go for a run over summer to get some of that fat off your a$$ Shrek. Mind you, the C Grade coach probably wont care

I'm just starting with some gentle walks mate. Any other jokes beside the C grade jibe?

No weight lifters diary this pre season??

Bought a power rack today test. Could be the start of a new diary.

I have just started combining skipping with my workout. In between sets of weights i do a min or so of skipping at varying speeds which keeps the heart rate up and makes ya sweat big time! I am finding that i can get just as good a workout with skipping and it is low impact so you feel decent afterwards.
Buy yourself a decent speed rope $20 bucks BARGAIN.

Ive been working out pretty intensley since about August. Got back into lifting after not touching much for a month or so midseason. 3 weeks or so of whole body stuff. Then moved onto a heavy lifitng split for 6 workouts a week. Cardio twice. Mainly road runs

Back to a 2day body spilt for 4 workouts (one repeat cycle) and upping the cardio. Pumped that i hit 150 for 5 reps whilst deadlifting the other day. Swimming 3 km 3 times a week and hitting the interval runs as well now. Twice a week intervals and one slower road run for 8+ km. Once i get my bike serviced i might drop the longer run for a decent ride on the weekend.

Deload next week for Exam Swot vac and start of preseason for footy. Then go hammer and tongs over uni/xmas break
