I'm just guessing here, but could the umpire that called it off be called Daysy??

No, it wasn't Daysy. He called off the Portland/Rosies clash last year, didnt he ?

Game got called off halfway through last quarter, a few lads were taking themselves a little bit seriously so the umps called it a day. We were comfortably up at the stage, 6-7 goals i think.

And i had nothing to do with any of it Piccachu, i was off the ground icing the hammy when it all took place ! It was a pretty full-on game of footy, im definately feeling a bit worse for wear today.

Hey Rosie fellas, is our game against you confirmed as a Friday night clash ? Everyone at our club believes its a Sunday game.

Yes it was Daysy last year!
As far as I know it is a Friday night game as we have always had them on Friday nights! I will need to check again. Will let you know when I get confirmation.

Yes mate, i was the bloke with the bandage around his head after getting my chin opened up early, and also tore the hammy in the last quarter.

Did you play Beef ?

It was a cracker of a game, the Weed falling over didnt help our cause - he was inpassable at CHB early.

Nah, I didn't play, I told them I only play in fair weather and bus trips! I did come down for the last quarter and a bit for a watch and a beer. I couldn't see much, I reckon we could've done with the lights on it was that dark.
Which one of our animals opened you up? I got opened up above the eye by Herbie the last time we played

Thanks to the Broken Hill Shinglebacks for meeting us at Mintaro today for a game on our bye weekend and thanks to Mid North for hosting a good day. Easts won the late game and West won the early one.

Yesterdays games @ Pooraka

I think Gawler Defeated Pooraka by a few goals
and Fitzroy defeated SHOC by four points.

Thanks to the boys from Pooraka and Gawler who helped out the SHOC boys.

Is the 'Flying Headband' Kim Pearce still running around for Hills? That guy must be close to 60 and would have played over 1000 games!

G'day fellas what's the go with super rules I've read that you play on Sundays every 2 weeks. If you still play footy do you have to het a clearance if your club doesn't have an over35's. I'm 35 next year and would be looking to have a run with a team next year. Can ya let me know what the go is even though it's still a year away. Cheers

No clearance required, just rock up, fill out a form and play.
