THIS SUNDAY JAN 20th from 10am-5pm @ Colley reserve, Glenelg is the first ever AFL 9s "The game for everybody" Come 'n try/ Expo. All registered participants and general public are welcome. Games will run every hour from 10.30. Should be a great day down at the Bay :)

AFL 9s is holding another come 'n try day this Sunday at CIVIC PARK (across from TTP)
The game will feature 3 installments of "The game for everyone"
11.30am - The Gaza Champions League v Gepps cross Champions League Team (reigning State champions)
12.30 and 1.30 - The public are invited to come and try AFL 9s in a team mixed in with some of the registered players from the 4 zones across Adelaide. its fun, fast and safe non contact Footy. All Welcome.

The day will also include DJ Dixy, BBQ, Give aways, fliers and information about AFL 9s and its free to play.

The Semaphore Fore-shore come 'n try day has been postponed until the post season. It is likely to take place in April now but the actual date will be confirmed in the near future.

WATCH OUT FOR AFL 9s at THE NAB CUP....
Sunday February 17th will see at least one exhibition game between the AFL round robin games to be played by Adelaide, Port and St. Kilda.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Northern Zone Gepps Cross comp who were victorious in last night State Titles.

It was a great night with all 4 zones winning at least one of their 3 games. The next time you will see AFL 9s is at half time of the Crows v Bulldogs game on April 21st @ Aami stadium

Yes there will be comps running through winter. The main comp over winter will be the corporate cup competition running at Max Basheer next to Aami stadium. I will upload the flier as soon as all the details are finalised. There is also a lot of planning in the works for a SAWFL, SAAFL and Super league comps to become available as well.

Just a reminder that next Sunday April 7th at 10am-12pm we are holding an AFL 9s accreditation and management module.

Why would anyone want to attend this?? I will tell you why!
- In just 2 hours you will become an AFL 9s accredited umpire
- You can earn $30 cash for just 40 minutes work umpiring non contact football
- This Spring/Summer the oppurtunity will exsist for umpires to do upto 10 games a week
- The course is free
- The course is catered
- The course contains both practical and theorey
- The course will take place in the Port Power lecture theatre, changerooms and at Aami stadium
- Umpires will be issued the official AFL 9s umpiring uniform upon completion
- You will become eligeble to manage any AFL 9s competitions that run in SA throughout the year
- You will get a first hand look at the new AFL 9s "The game for everybody"

Thanks to everyone who attended the Umpire accreditation and management module on Sunday. It was a very successfull day with everyone gaining umpire accreditation.

The "New" AFL 9s which is still "The game for everyone" will first be seen on Sunday April 21st at half time of the Crows v Bulldogs game :)
