Both sides played well Geelong were fitter and hungrier to get the win. Since 2002 The Cats have won 3 AFL, 3 VFL, 2 Preseason Premierships. Had 2 Brownlow medalists, 3 Norm Smith Medalists, 3 Norm Goss Medalists, 1 Michael Tuck Medalist, 1 AFLPA MVP X3, 1 J.J. Liston Trophy, 1 Ron Evans Medal winner, 2 McClelland Trophies. Not a bad record for the club in 11 seasons.
