After results from last season it is going to be interesting to see this seasons gradings.

Here is what they might be:

Grade 1
Rose & Crown (Grade 1 Premiers)
One Tree Hill (Grade 1 Runner Up)
Salisbury West
Central United
Virginia
Craigmore
Riverside (Grade 2 Premiers)
Eastern Park (Grade 2 Minor Premiers)

Grade 2 could see a number of scenario's, ATCO taking out the Grade 3 premiership will see them not gain promotion due to their Grade 1 team being relegated into Grade 2. This will give Salisbury North and Rose & Crown B's a reprieve.
Angle Vale B's will be forced down to Grade 3 with their A's being relegated to Grade 2. It will allow Craigmore B's to be promoted to Grade 2.

Grade 2
Angle Vale
ATCO
Parafield Gardens
Salisbury West B
Smithfield
Salisbury North
Rose & Crown B
Craigmore B

Grade 3 is in a similar circumstance, Central United C's won the Grade 4 premiership but can't be promoted as their B's are in Grade 3.

Grade 3
Angle Vale B
ATCO B
Central United B
North Pines
Eastern Park B
One Tree Hill B
Parafield Gardens B
Smithfield B/ Two Wells

It gets too technical for the lower grades, Pete will have his hands full.

Dublin to try a field a side in Div 3 and Div 6 I believe.
They have also recruited a new coach/captain from a Div 1 side.

Not sure what club he is from to be honest. But those two don't ring a bell.
Doesn't really matter anyway its only Div 3.
Just thought I'd mention that the blue caps are trying to improve themselves and sneak up the grades. :D

LM I know you don't get many things wrong when it comes to PDCA but I must correct you.
Craigmore won the grade 3 premiership last year not ATCO and should be promoted to grade 2 which will be a huge test for the club, not many have been able to survive in the top 2 grades for a long period, only Westies in recent times.

When will clubs start their pre seasons, have heard ATCO start next Monday, 5th August.
Way too early in my opinion.
Have had an early start like this and by Xmas you have had enough, the season is long enough and you need some petrol in the tank when the really hot days hit.

McCafferty to Salisbury West
Bedgegood to One Tree Hill, Central United, Enfield, Kilburn, Ingle Farm
Ozolins to Grade 1

If Eastern Park can maintain the core of their group from last season for the entire year and add a mature/experienced head in there I think they will be very competitive in Grade 1.

Agree about EP, huge talent and potential, probably need 1-2 older heads in the side but will be ver competitive

I see them finishing 5-6 winning unexpected games, losing games they should have won, and being a tad hot and cold.

I look forward to reading their results well deserved to the lads no matter what happens though

Don't understand how Two Wells have managed to stay in Grade 4, they are a side that have finished in the top 3 the past 2 seasons but fall over come finals, they are a better side than grade 4 and about time they stepped up.

I'd say it's a case of footballers that play cricket, when pre-season starts their interest drops off.

With the appointment of Ben Stamatovich as captain/coach this year I think they will be more than competitive in Grade 4..

And due to work/family and living close by, he has recruited close mate Willie Searle to join him. They are looking to play closer to home and have an enjoyable social season of cricket. Both have claimed their time at Two Wells was some of the best times they have had!

Also opens the door for possible occasional guest appearance from the Thomas brother Pete & Kev as well..
