I look forward to hearing about your average this year.

What odds do i get for Froffies to have a 1000 run year.

0.99 - froffies 1000 runs in calendar year. Just bought a new balance achieve (jonathon trott's bat)... Apparently it gives you his average?

Why would you want to drop your average? ;)

Troy is good no doubt. But really how do you judge best player? because we have guys like Shane Mcnair, and Phil Neil who i would rate as better bats and better in the field but obviously dont have bowling in the repertoire apart from the occasional part time stint. I would rate Adam Smith has performed better with the ball for a number of years and is more than useful with the bat and again is a better fielder than Troy in my belief. Fantasia is a similar sort of batsmen to Troy, likes to get on with it and both are well capable of putting away the best bowling attacks but Fanta doesnt bowl but then again he does keep which is surely just as important? Fanta didnt score the weight of runs Troy did but over the last 3 years or so i would reckon they have scored a similar total of runs in total across the 3 years, and anyone whos saw Fantas 150odd vs Craigmore would be brave to say he isnt the quality of Troy with the bat.

Troy would be good in any side. wasted in div 3. But certainly not indispensable nor is he irreplaceable. Other guys will step into that role and do just as good a job i think.

F2F
Are u serious on here talking up a lad who has 696 runs in 3years. Lucky to be averaging 20? Maybe the bowlers in pdca are top notch to be raving on about an avg of 20 and seeing as there's a 150 odd in there it ain't too consistent

Maybe Fanta is going to be captain and F2F sees this as his golden opportunity to earn some brownie points!

2. C.Nuske
3. McVeigh
4. R.Thomas
5. B.Starr
6. J.Crosbie

That's a scary top 6 for a div 3 side.

Benny has always played at Dublin. Plays footy at long plains. He doesn't bowl offies, he is very slippery, slim to no lateral movement but can kick one or two off the concrete deck per over. Has a very good bumper.

Ahhh ok.. Not the guy I was thinking of. There was an offie getting around a few years back, with a decent set of dreddies, and I'm pretty sure his last name was Starr
