Which bowler's from WOS, the only one they had was Macca and he's at Keswick.

The footy club tubby. We pick up most of our recruits from them. So much so in our last game of cricket against wos there were more actual old scholars playing for ramblers then there were for wos!

Western Youth Centre are delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff Wilson as coach for the upcoming season.
Jeff has previously coached at Turf Clubs, Hope Valley and Marion. He brings a wealth of experience and real passion for the game that will be invaluable for our club for this year.
Really looking forward to seeing Jeff work with our squad and hopefully help bring on a hat-trick of premierships for the A grade and also some lower grade success.
Welcome to WYC Jeff.

ASCA 2012 AGM Motions by Keswick Cricket Club
We the Keswick Cricket Club Committee propose three motions for consideration and discussion at the Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association Annual General Meeting.
Motion 1 Preamble
We are concerned about the current final series structure where we believe insufficient benefit is obtained from finishing the minor round in 1st or 2nd position. We propose a change in the final series to a 3 week contest incorporating a preliminary final. This means the final series would change with the major semi-final involving 1st versus 2nd playing at the minor round premier’s home ground, with the winner moving directly to a home grand final and the loser to a home ground preliminary final. The 3rd and 4th placed sides would play in the minor semi-final with the loser eliminated and the winner progressing to a preliminary final against the loser of the first semi-final at their home ground. We the Keswick Cricket Club believe this gives the two top sides in each section a second chance earned by virtue of them finishing in the top two positions and adds to the home final and weather cancellation benefits already afforded their top two finishes.
This extra week of cricket finals could easily be accommodated without reduction of the minor round games by including another one day game into the regular season (see also motion 2).
Motion 1
Finals move to a 3 week format incorporating a preliminary final.
Major semi-final 1st versus 2nd with winner progressing to a home grand final, loser to a home preliminary final
Minor semi-final 3rd versus 4th with the winner progressing to the preliminary final and loser eliminated.
Winner of the preliminary final plays against the winner of the major semi-final in the grand final.
Motion 2 Preamble
We would propose that the final minor round game is a one-day game. This is primarily to prevent any manipulation or contrived results (e.g. sporting declarations to allow outright wins which may influence table finishing positions). This is in line with District and Turf cricket associations who play a one day game to prevent the possibility of contrived results in the final minor round game. The adoption of this motion would also allow inclusion of a third week of finals without shortening the number of games for non-finals playing teams.
Motion 2
The last minor round game becomes a one day game.
Motion 3 Preamble
If the 7+7 competition is not continuing, Keswick Cricket Club proposes that the Association consider introduce an entirely separate one day competition with all games played according to the current Association one day regulations with finals also held according to the one day format.. This is based primarily on the fact that we believe player availability and participation would be enhanced by a one day competition. Keswick Cricket Club committee believe that the 7+7 competition was a step in the right direction but due to lack of support from some of the teams was ultimately limited. In this competition format we certainly found it easier to recruit players for the one day component of the 7+7 rather than the 2 day aspect in spite of the 12th and 13th man rule. A separate one day competition should therefore be more inclusive for players with weekend commitments or older and younger players who cannot fulfil or compete in the two week competition. An additional advantage may be in competitions against other associations in SAMCA cup competitions that are played in the one day format.
Motion 3
The Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association develop a one day competition as a separate entity to be conducted in parallel with the standard two day competition.
