Pink Stumps Day

This weekend cricket clubs across Adelaide are celebrating pink stumps day, supporting the McGrath foundation.

Woodville Rechabite Cricket Club are lucky enough to have Glenn McGrath appearing in person at the club from roughly 12.30 Saturday.

Bbq, full bar facilities along with the A grade & C grade both playing at home.

The club is located @ Matheson reserve, Buccleuch ave, Findon.

I believe Craigmore C.C & Salisbury West C.C are participating aswell amongst others who's names escape me.

The ATCA would like to congratulate the 17 Clubs that will be participating in the McGrath Foundation Pink Stumps day on 18 February 2012.

The Chairman and Co-Founder of the McGrath Foundation, is thrilled by the support and enthusiasm showed by community clubs around Australia. The McGrath Foundation has offered all registered clubs around the country the chance to win a visit from an Australian Cricket Legend to attend their Pink Stumps Day.

The ATCA is pleased to announce that the Woodville Rechabite Cricket Club as attained that right and will be lucky enough to be the only club within South Australia to have Glenn McGrath himself visit the club on the 18th February Between the hours of 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

All ATCA clubs participating will be donating all proceeds to the McGrath Foundation and the ATCA would like to encourage the cricket community to band together and support the national cause by visiting one of the following participating clubs.

Sandy Creek cricket club. Face painting, jumping castle and other great things to do.

If you go to Forsters Landscape Supplies on Portrush Rd you can score a pink shovel. Same deal % to the foundation & shames the employees.

Craigmore CC raised over $1000 for the McGrath Foundation over Saturday night. A great night had by all at our 25th Anniversary Dinner.
