You'd think SP would beat Wandies but W are in good form.

All I know in the A Grade is that Sellen was abused by whoever played SP for giving Ben Brown in but he was way out allegedly.

I am tipping sp in the b. Since their return to a grade sp have never beaten props. Sending them out in straight sets could set sp up for a dream year

Southport through to the Grand Final in the World Cup.
Great game and a close finish.
Where would Southport be without Chris Pollard....

Pollard got 100.
Southport would have made around 160-170 I think.
Wandies were a real chance when Matt Gale was in, and needed just over a run a ball with about 5 overs to go.
Some good bowling thereafter (in particular Chris Pollard bowling his only two overs for the day) and Gale's dismissal which involved a good catch on the boundary left Wandies about 10 short at the end.
I like what Wandies did with their World Cup squad this year - really promoting some younger players and not just batting all of their older players up the top of the order.

Planning on taking the kids 2 gladstone, 2 watch RR cricket final over there. Sounds safer and less hostile! Wonder if PPCA will act on poor behaviour of players in Agrade prelim? Or just turn a blind eye coz they are not in blue and white?

Well well well. speaking to the reporting umpire today and apparently said south port player was reported for unnecessary contact and to quote said umpire 'chesting' was involved.

5 weeks seem to be the only resonable punishment with the precedence set earlier in the year
