Just easing back on the computer at 1.05am there Normy?,
I realise the comprehensive bowling by M.Doecke would lead to some sleepless nights but its been months champ.
Rumour just in: Benny Burgess and the Duke have had the 'reverse' of the operation they use for conjoined twins,
fusing themselves together to become the ultimate cricketer. Shall we start the bidding at $30,000 gentlemen........

Hi, wondering if anybody could help me I have links with the port Adelaide cricket club and I was at the One Day cricket final up there last year and as the T20 cricket is taking over all competition we are looking to put a specialized T20 team in the up and coming grade competition which the winning club will play off against the winners of every other grade comp in Australia for the chance to play in the world T20 challenge early next year. After leaving that game I saw two cricketers I would like to get hold of as we are just now getting together a squad, one of the players was from sandy creek he batted towards the end of innings lefty.. And bowled left arm tweekers??? The other opened the batting for Angaston and made 50 odd but was very impressivein the field aswell, if someone could let me know there names that would be greatly appreciated.. I have contacted both clubs over weekend still waiting to hear back from them.
I'm sure there would be alot more players in your competition that might warrant a chance at selection so any other names and clubs in which they play would be much appreciated.
Cheers Neil G.

Anyone keen to predict the ladder this year with the premiers and the one day
premiers?

The sides are

nuri , sandy, tanunda, Gawler centrals, greenock, light pass , Gilbert valley, angaston.

The ladder at the end of the minor round

sandy
nuri
tanunda
Gilbert valley
Gawler centrals
angaston
light pass. Not knowing bugger all about these two bottom sides it's prob a bit harsh on them both
greenock

the two day grand final will be between sandy and tanunda

one day final sandy and Gilbert valley
Back to the creek it is.

How can there possibly be a competent prediction of ladder positions when we don't even know
where the Duke is playing? if he fronts up at Ango we will shorten significantly in the betting.
The one legitimate prediction I will make is that if Bretty Burgess continues to transform into the lean-mean-cricketing-machine
he is fast becoming then opposition batting line-ups look out, he had a solid year last year in John Candy-esque condition.
Fully fit and trim he could do anything. Add the Duke to the mix and it is frightening...........

Stewie,
The fate of the 2010/11 competition and betting could solely come down to this Sundays roast at Norms.
The Dawson Creek powerbrokers are split in their decision. Norm may have to mortgage his house and move in with Gav to finance the appointment.
Price of grapes are low as a worms belly, so Ango may miss out in the bidding war unless Dover gets a good price for his house.
Light Pass may be in the box seat if they have a good crop. :weedman:
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

I see the president from last year is still in charge.

I thought someone may have stood against him - before he stuffs the whole comp up.

I even thought he may have stood down - to get his life back in order.

Plenty of people willing to sling him off on hear but not stand up and be heard. If people have some concerns they should let them be known.

So Shoot it what is it exactly that he is doing to stuff the comp up, i wouldve thought the comp is running very well with a record number of teams nominated this year says to me it looks pretty healthy.

the president and the executive committee is only there to put into place what the clubs want so cant see how he can influence anything. The exec is basically unchanged so they must all be doing something right.

Whats your claim to fame on the cricket field Shoot it? You never posted on here before so i assume you are just trolling
