WANTED: Cricket gear

Postby Baron Greenback » Thu Aug 06, 2009 12:30 pm

I've just started a cricket team in our local district competition up here in the Riverland.
We've got a bit of sponsorship etc, but not enough to go out and buy brand new gear.
Are there any clubs/people willing to donate/sell cheaply some cricket bats, pads, gloves etc.

Strictly no boxes!

I know you said you cant afford new gear but... i received a Greg Chappell Cricket Centre catalogue this week and it has a mens kit with 2 Puma Bats (worth about $100 bucks a pop), 3 pairs of pads, 1 wk pads, 2 thigh pads, 3 boxes, 1 pair wk gloves, 1 pair inners, 6 stumps, 4 bails, 1 score book, 1 umpire counter and a Kit team bag for about $500 bucks.

Yeah we were looking into the GCCC to see what we could get.

So are you starting a team in the district comp too?
